Delicious scratch-made food! I had the breakfast special and the plate was full to the brim of yummy eggs, breakfast potatoes with onions & bacon and toasted, buttered baguette! And, oh! The coffee (I had the Le Praline) was divine! My friends and I sat outside and I could almost swear I was back in Paris, leisurely watching the world go by!
😁Found this place a few months ago. Although I live in Orange County, I have some work in Carlsbad and always do lunch inbetween. This is now my go-to place. Love the decor, the friendly & efficient service. Really appreciate the gluten free crepes as its been a long time since I've been able to eat crepes, AND the GF pastries/desserts. The orange/pistachio cake is sooooo good. I usually get something to go, so I can make the GF french experience last a little longer....read full review

French Corner is a tiny shop at this seaside town serving light lunch, pastries, and coffee. The crepes are a must try, with the crêpe with ham, egg and cheese being so delicious. The savory crepes have a perfect balance of ham, cheese and a dash of joy, and come with a delicious side salad and honey mustard sauce. The omelette was fluffy and savory, the multigrain bread was nicely buttered, and the vegetarian sandwich had just the right amount of pesto dressing. The coffee was very good, and the pistachio coffee was good, too. A first time sip of a Le Cafe Parisian, a double espresso with chocolate and orange citrus peel, made the tongue dance. The chocolate almond croissant is the BEST in town - more chocolate than pastry. The pistachio croissant donut was so marvelous and beautiful. Everything was delicious, with a cozy atmosphere. They have a lovely patio in the back that is kid and dog friendly, with comfortable outdoor seating and a sea breeze.
