“Pipes Cafe is a great spot for a casual meal, especially after spending some time at the beach or surfing. The food was good, with generous portion sizes that leave you properly satisfied. The relaxed atmosphere fits the coastal location perfectly. Definitely a nice place to stop for a tasty and filling meal after a surf.“

“We were looking for breakfast at 1pm and this place delivered! Breakfast, lunch and dinner food. Everything we ordered was amazing and had a slightly different take on what I normally expect. The homemade biscuits were great with their gravy. I'm from the Fresno area but will make an effort to stop in again when I come back this way.“

“I love this place and the sweet people who work here! My favorite meal is the trifecta of a basil chicken wrap, naked salad, and the best carrot ginger soup ever! It’s not on the regular menu anymore, but can be requested as it’s still in their computer listing. The new back grass patio dining area beneath giant old pines is a hidden treasure that opened during CoVid.“

“I appreciate having a local cafe where I can eat almost everything! They use no seed oils; it's 100% GF and have many dairy free options. They use homemade almond milk without the additives. I can enjoy a latte, a baked good like their pumpkin cupcake which is delicious, and they have amazing vegan bacon on their Sammy sandwich.“

“April Cardenas is the skill behind the scenes/in the kitchen. 100% respect to her commitment to this long standing little gem of Leucadia. “Delicious scratch-made food! I had the breakfast special and the plate was full to the brim of yummy eggs, breakfast potatoes with onions & bacon and toasted, buttered baguette! And, oh! The coffee (I had the Le Praline) was divine! My friends and I sat outside and I could almost swear I was back in Paris, leisurely watching the world go by!“

“Vibe/Interior: Earthy, cozy, and a place that makes you want to stay a while. Everything about this place feels so grounded and intentional.
Standouts: The vitality tonics are unlike any mocktail I’ve ever had - mentawai and sienna. The French toast is enormous so we had to take the rest home. My personal favorite was the panna cotta - light, refreshing, and not too sweet
Service: The host was incredibly warm. Our waiter was just as warm and attentive! Our water cups were never empty.
Parking: Across the street from the restaurant is a huge dirt lot that’s free
Pro Tips: Make a reservation in advance. We were a party of 2 and arrived at 11 so they were able to squeeze us in but almost everyone else had a reservation“
