That same girl was treating me poorly was serving me today again. I didn't go there a while even I work just on same street because of that employee treating me like that but then I wanted to give another chance. I've been going since couple times. Other workers and owner is nice. But today again this same girl... I'm asking their other stuff, what is in it and what are they since I wanna try their all bakery. I just asked 1 item and she answered okay thank you, and then I asked something next to that. Her face expressions and her attitude which is making you feel very uncomfortable. You can read from her face that she hates you :) she didn't want to answer she was like "I'm sorry I don't hear you, it's the fan " or whatever she said I don't remember now. As soon as owner came out and was standing behind her, her all attitude completely changed. She started smiling and telling me have a great day etc. She made feel terrible asking questions for the purpose of trying their products. I wouldn't give tip to her, I wasn't giving whenever I see a bad attitude, but I left some tip today but not Because how she treated me, because their bars are super tasty and I love whatever I eat there. Owner probably knows who I'm, I gave so much detail for her to guess who I am. She has such a nice place and popular in here. I just wanted her to know so she can improve her business for even better!“
“Went here for a coffee and pastry. Was please to learn the owner roasts all the coffee here. Their bags of coffee seem pretty reasonable priced, maybe a bit low. But the brewed coffee I had (I think they call it Golden) did not excite me at all. It was a pretty basic cup of coffee, really. It was towards the end of the day, so the pastry I had was a bit hard. “Found this place randomly and it is definitely a hidden gem! Service/staff were great and attentive. Inside was neat with a cute/unique style. I would say it's perfect for study sessions and/or coffee dates. Drink: I have never tried honey lavender with my matcha but the staff recommended and it did not disappoint. Price is pretty average for a matcha latte (especially if you get dairy free milk). I will be back to try the food menu!“

“We were walking around Encinitas on a Saturday morning and came across this gem. We walked inside and were instantly greeted. The cashier was so sweet and patient while we looked at the menu and ordered. I ordered an iced matcha latte and my boyfriend got a flat white. Both drinks were good and came out fast. Limited seating outside but it wasn't really busy. We found a nice high table outside and sipped our drinks while we people watched. Perfect for coffee dates and studying! “This Himalayan Sherpa cuisine has great food but slow service. It is in a funky location that looks like it may have been a diner, with booths and tables. They decorated the walls with fabric wall hanging that are also for sale. We ate Lamb! This is not the place to come for steak.lol. Lamb! Veges! Naan bread! Delicious food. Just be patient. Slow service and every table was filled. Busy! We enjoyed a vege dish, Nawaeratan Korma, which proved tastier than expected. Veges, including tofu in the most delicious coconut curry sauce. The two lamb dishes we got: Lamb Saag and Lamb Tikka Masala were delightful. Now, we love curry, so we have an appreciation of the flavors. The food is consistently delicious. We have come twice. No issues with the food. The servers run around, taking orders, clearing tables, bringing food, taking payments. There are plenty of people who come in to pick up their TO GO Orders; so that seems to slow down the process for those people dining in. But it is worth it!“

You can add Nueske bacon to the sandwich for an extra fee.I loved that they used a soft scramble for their egg preparation. They did a great job on the eggs. They were light and fluffy. Same goes for the larger sister location in La Jolla where you can see right into the kitchen as they intricately work, Parisien Gourmandises. Not only is the owner and main Pastry Chef raised in France, she and the other chefs have worked and collaborated with some of the leading pasty chefs in the industry. Any mixed or bad reviews left on here are either by people who have ulterior motives or just have bad taste in food; you can quote me. Their kouign amann is absolute BLISS. Getting pastries and cake from them is my weekly pleasure. The staff is always kind and attentive. It's immaculately clean. They also have a beautiful selection of imported goods and sweets. For anyone who's reading average reviews, thats just not the case. I see people complaining that sometimes they close early and I can't say thats a fair assessment. They make FRESH BATCHES DAILY to ensure that you are getting the best quality and at times they sell out. Anything that sells out fast just proves my point and is a testament as to how excellent it is. Just had the most incredible birthday cake, "LE ROYAL AU CHOCOLAT". Go see for yourself. They grilled our egg salad sandwich in the panini maker and the iced matcha latte was delicious. The crew here helpful And warm. Also very quick. I only wish there was more “bar style” seating for those who tend to linger for hours on their own instead of taking up a whole table. It’s been super crowded with no seating the last few months bc people tend to stay for hours working. Which I totally understand. But for a UCSD alum like me, I may just wanna sit for half an hour maybe an hour at most and often there is no seating. That’s my only suggestion. Add single person searing. But I’ll definitely be back and hope to come before a “rush”. The line can get very long. (I get it. I used to work in a cafe at the Price Center and it was crazy there). We also love the atmosphere.
