“Mille Fleurs was the perfect spot to celebrate our mutual birthdays! Service was both understated and perfectly timed. The food was, as it always is, perfection. My husband started with the Osetra caviar (with really lovely buckwheat pancakes and some potato crisps); I had the lobster bisque (perfectly seasoned, adorned with chives and a swirl of cream). I got the diver scallops (with a divine saffron sauce, over spinach and sauteed mushrooms); he got the lamb chops (grilled to perfection, over couscous and green beans). We shared a delightful lavender creme brulee, and were surprised by individual birthday cakes and candles in wine glasses. He had a perfect Grey Goose dry martini, I had a split of champagne. It was lovely, unhurried, quiet enough to converse without shouting, under a lovely spring sky on the patio. Cannot recommend this enough- it's the perfect splurge, and is reliably both elegant and exquisite.”

“This is my new favorite spot. I’ve come 4 weekends in a row because it’s such good food, atmosphere & service. It’s been consistently good every time I’ve come which is not common in most places. Highly recommend, can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.”

“The burgers and fries are both quite good, and the thin crust pizza is very tasty. Many choices for the burgers and pizzas. The owner and staff are friendly and outgoing but not obnoxious or phony. Give it try!”

“Shortly after being seated, water and warm nuts were brought to our table (don't skip the nuts). We started our meal by splitting a wedge salad. Thank goodness we split it — too much for one person. My wife got the burger and our server (and the kitchen) handled the special requests perfectly. The burger was excellent. I debated between the prime rib and the NY Steak — went with the NY on the recommendation of our server, and it was an excellent choice. Cooked to perfection. We ordered the apple cobbler to go, and it was fantastic! From start to finish, it was a great experience! More frequent visits are in the cards.”

“One of our special date night places when in the San Diego area. Outdoor seating is great and food is wonderful. Rancho Santa Fe in the evening is quiet and you can just have a nice conversation over dinner.”

“First time visiting. This is a must visit for all food lovers who also appreciates quality Californian ingredients. I had all tonics on the menu, the Turkish eggs & the Spanish French toast. Absolutely yummy! I was super nervous to try the French toast so a super sweet couple sitting next to me shared some their French toast with me & I’m so glad they did. I’ll be coming back for sure for the French toast! I absolutely loved the ambience and customer service. I felt at home and I can’t say that for half of the restaurants in San Diego. Definitely a must visit! I highly recommend! I will definitely return!!

“I’ve never heard of this place, but it had good review so I decided to check it out. I can say one thing the food mac & cheese is fantastic. The Dave’s hot chicken sandwich sandwiches and the chicken tenders are amazing. The real star of this place are the french fries not sure why but they are amazing. Just one thing you should know I always mobile order and it seems to take forever so if you go in there and order right off the street, expect kind of a longer weight than any fast food place.”
