“We have been to Mille Fleurs several times, and have always been very happy with the choice. This time we celebrated my birthday. We started with a bottle of Champagne from the extensive wine list. Then a half dozen oysters and the beet salad. Everything was fresh, delicious and with great presentation. For mains we had the crusted sea bass and duck confit. Both were excellent. For dessert we split the crème brûlée which was much creamier than most preparations. Service was impeccable. Dinner was relaxed, dishes were cleared properly and there was plenty of time between courses. The ambience was a bit loud at times. We ate indoors with three other parties and things got a bit animated here and there. But nothing to distract from the evening. If you have not been to Mille Fleurs, do make a reservation soon. You will be happy you did.”

“The burgers and fries are both quite good, and the thin crust pizza is very tasty. Many choices for the burgers and pizzas. The owner and staff are friendly and outgoing but not obnoxious or phony. Give it try!”

“Lilian’s in Rancho Santa Fe made for such a fun date night spot. The whole place has a romantic, polished vibe without feeling stuffy. My wife and I started with the spicy tuna crispy rice and honestly could’ve ordered three more - perfectly crispy with that melt-in-your-mouth tuna on top. She went with the wedge salad and spicy rigatoni alla vodka, which totally lived up to the hype, while I had the warm crab and avocado salad that was super fresh and refreshing. The 1/2 roasted chicken sealed the deal for me - hearty, flavorful, and seriously satisfying. Great food, great atmosphere, and one of those dinners you keep talking about after you leave.”
