Coya is one of our favorite places in San Diego. The ceviche is a favorite along with the short rib or lomo saltado. We love the relaxed outdoor ambiance and if it’s cold they always have heaters ready. The staff is nice and attentive as well. Make a reservation or come early!
Cute Peruvian restaurant. We started off with the ceviche mixto and roasted beet salad. Very tasty. We had the pork belly and short rib. Both sweet dishes. My favorite was the Lomo Saltado. I recommend you try the cuatro leches and flan desserts. I believe Esau was our waiter. He was very attentive and had great suggestions.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free dessert

Excellent dining experience! Enjoyed an authentic taste of Peru made even better by the warm service. Highly recommend the ceviche, yuquitas, quinoa salad (would add protein if ordering as main entree), and the Tempranillo. The chaufa was good, just a bit too much soy sauce for my taste. Look forward to coming back to try more dishes, including the lomo saltado. Cozy patio dining with heat lamps.
