“The food was really good. However, the restaurant is very short staffed. There were two waiters for the entire restaurant which was full. The same waiters were also making drinks, helping with to go orders, and seating people. In essence, it seemed like they were doing everything besides kitchen duties. It was Saturday in the evening. They need to actively look into hiring additional staff. At least 2 more waiters per shift and a hostess. I saw one of the waiters hit his leg on a bench because he was seriously trying to work as fast as humanly possible. I would go back because the food was bomb, but perhaps at opening time or early afternoon on a weekday when perhaps they are not as busy!“
“Such a delicious dinner! We stumbled upon this little gem in Encinitas. Authentic Peruvian food and cozy atmosphere. Niko was an awesome server and we were tempted to try all the specials, but ended up sharing some empanadas and small plates. The veggie empanada was our favorite. 10/10 would recommend!“
“Excellent dining experience! Enjoyed an authentic taste of Peru made even better by the warm service. Highly recommend the ceviche, yuquitas, quinoa salad (would add protein if ordering as main entree), and the Tempranillo. The chaufa was good, just a bit too much soy sauce for my taste. Look forward to coming back to try more dishes, including the lomo saltado. Cozy patio dining with heat lamps.“
