“My husband and I both enjoyed their wonderful Peruvian cuisine of mouth-watering filet mignon, delicious soup with tender chicken, freshly baked and piping hot spinach cheese empanada. Restaurant is brand new and ultra-clean. I highly recommend it and look forward to returning soon!“

“I’m guessing this restaurant is a Vietnamese fusion.
Chicken pho - solid.
Prawn vermicelli noodles with fish sauce. The prawns were a bit overcooked so hard to peel but seasoned perfectly and huge! I didn’t enjoy my noodles as much as the prawns because I’m not a fan of this restaurant’s fish sauce. It’s lacking complexity… a bit of sugar and acid in their fish sauce would improve this dish tremendously.
House wontons - solid. Delicious on its own. Well seasoned so it doesn’t even need the sweet chili sauce that in came with In my opinion .
Eggrolls - meh. They smelled strongly of fish sauce. I would skip it if you didn’t grow up eating fish sauce; it stunk! What’s worse is the sauce that came with it is fish sauce too! I grew up eating egg rolls seasoned with salt to taste without a dipping sauce so this recipe is new to me.
Kumquat tea - it’s kumquat syrup so it tasted weird and overpowered the jasmine tea. I mainly tasted lemonade and the kumquat syrup. I should have asked if the tea was made from fresh squeezed kumquat juice, silly me… 🤦🏽♀️ skip this!
Fast service. Fried food arrives HOT so let it cool down first!
I will return to try their Lomo Saltado, pasta or, fried rice dishes.“

“Fantastic food and drink. highly recommended.“
“Very good place to get your Peruvian food fix. The menu is pretty diverse. We got the classic lomo saltado and tried the ceviche de pescado. They first gave us bread that was garlic bread surprisingly with the aji sauce. It was delicious and spicy and garlicky. The ceviche de pescado was excellent. It had that tangy citrus orange marinade with lime and with the nuts and corn nuts. The white fish was soft and cooked thoroughly and delicious. The lomo came out in huge portions that surprised me (basically two meals). The sauce and fries went well together with the onions rice and tomatoes. The meat was decent and it all went together well.
The table came in a lazy Susan style for family style sharing which is convenient. The waiter was very nice but not very attentive as we had to ask for water and check & boxes by intentionally getting their attention and walking to them for assistance. The decor is very chill and homely with a variety of music in the background. The whole place is very red and decorated with various Peruvian cultural references.
Prices are fairly reasonable for the portions you get.“

“Es el mejor restaurante de comida Peruana rn California, una excelente sazón 100% recomendado“
“This Peruvian restaurant instantly transported me back to the warmth of family gatherings, blending the vibrant flavors of home-cooked meals with the familiar comfort of classic diner favorites. The first time I tried their signature plate was at my graduation class celebration, and it left a lasting impression. The chicken was perfectly cooked—tender and juicy—with a fajita-style mix of bell peppers and onions that added a wonderful depth of flavor.
The green sauce served on the side was fiery and bold, packing just the right amount of heat without being too overwhelming. The best part? The dish stands strong on its own, even without the sauce, bc the quality and balance of the ingredients.
When the restaurant opened in Rodeo 72 Public Market, I ordered the same plate: Saltado de Pollo. Bold vibrant Peruvian flavors.
I’m already planning my next visit.“

“Tried the lomo saltado at Chicama and really enjoyed it. I liked that it tasted closer to the traditional version rather than a fusion style. The flavors were savory (a little salty) and well-balanced, making it a dish I would come back for.“

“Great food , great service
The peruvian inspired ceviche was perfectly balanced, bursting with flavor, and the Lomo saltado is steak and French fries was melt-in-your-mouth perfection. Our server, was highly knowledgeable and attentive. Place is completely worth the diverse fusion of indigenous Incan traditions with Spanish, Chinese, and African influences, famous for ingredients like fresh seafood, potatoes, and chili peppers.

“This is a small family restaurant with a nice atmosphere, broad menu, and generous portions.
Peruvian drinks and sauce are available. Hot rolls were brought to the table with butter.
Our food selections were not adventurous, except for my seafood plate, which was cooked well.
The price was about $20 per person.“
