Great tacos! Kids loved the taquitos plate with empanadas and chips. We loved the fish tacos, carnitas which had some chicharron on top, and the surf and turf tacos. Salsa bar had some nice selection of mango, red, green salsas and aiolis, lime, cilantro.Vegetarian options: Am not vegetarian but saw plenty of options for those who are and January taco was a fried green bean taco with option to be vegan (removing the aioli)Parking: Had to park in an adjacent lot in the weekend...read full review
We are taco enthusiasts and visit because of good recommendations. Definitely, unique tacos with good flavor and multiple sauces to try. I liked that they have extra onions and cilantro in case you're like me and always put more. The 4 stars come strictly from the service. They can improve in customer service and the way they talk to customers.

Sincerely one of the best taco experiences in San Diego, which is saying something. Of course they have carnitas, asada, camarones etc but they have so many more creative options, I particularly love the Scallop Dreams taco. The house made corn tortillas are top notch as well.City Tacos is absolutely a worthwhile experience at a great price point (four tacos, elite and two glasses of wine for under $40). I highly recommend giving them a try.
