Great little spot for a delicious bite. Wide selection of tacos, and we sampled 4 different ones - ALL delicious!! Would definitely eat here again, and bring a friend.

I try to give each place a few times in case I come on bad days but apparently this lady at night has them regurly my food was super late and cold and when I said that she said in a very threatning voice to say that again and came at me with her angry face towards me...so I said it again and she said no it's not....save yourself some rude service and go wait for better service and tacos at THE TACO STAND..

The amount of reviews to keep it at such a high rating is gaslighting. They watched my wife clean the one booth so we could sit, they had no customers. Food came out cold. Which is insane for a group of 4 and no one there. Greasy tacos. 3 out of 4 of us feel gross. I would also bet the pineapple is canned. Makes me wonder how fresh anything is. And nearly $6 for a maybe 3oz or quac is a joke.

Some of the worst tacos, absolutely no flavor or seasoning, the salsas were so watered down and again no flavor. The place was so dirty, stained rags left close to salsa stand, food scraps left on tables and I don’t think they’ve cleaned the floors in days. So

Sincerely one of the best taco experiences in San Diego, which is saying something. Of course they have carnitas, asada, camarones etc but they have so many more creative options, I particularly love the Scallop Dreams taco. The house made corn tortillas are top notch as well.City Tacos is absolutely a worthwhile experience at a great price point (four tacos, elite and two glasses of wine for under $40). I highly recommend giving them a try.

So delicious and outdoor dining. Staff is very nice. I got the portabello mushroom an mahi vera Cruz style. Solana beach is very expensive was nice to have a place that's not crowded and affordable.I had to change my review because last time I went the tacos were horrible. I went to Solana Beach location. I ordered a mushroom taco and carne asada. The mushrooms were dry. Tortillas on both were a bit stale. I could not finish my meal. It was very dirty too. Not a very clean environment.

Great tacos! Kids loved the taquitos plate with empanadas and chips. We loved the fish tacos, carnitas which had some chicharron on top, and the surf and turf tacos. Salsa bar had some nice selection of mango, red, green salsas and aiolis, lime, cilantro.Vegetarian options: Am not vegetarian but saw plenty of options for those who are and January taco was a fried green bean taco with option to be vegan (removing the aioli)Parking: Had to park in an adjacent lot in the weekend but there was also ample street parking.Kid-friendliness: Had 3 kids who enjoyed the mixer platter with potato taquitos and guacamole and corn bean empanadas.
