If you could go a little bit heavier on the quinoa, that would be amazing. Your veggie burger is healthy and delicious. I usually get takeout and that process is usually very smooth and simple.“

“It’s our annual place to be every August for the last 17 years: celebrating 50 years of marriage! The food, service and atmosphere right on the beach is heavenly. Our bartender Steve congratulated us and we talked for a short time. Everyone is so friendly, can’t beat the quality of their meals ! We drive out from Phoenix to have their specialty. “We stopped by Darshan Bakery hoping to grab a cinnamon roll, but they were out at the time. We ended up getting the pull-apart cinnamon roll instead. The flavor was good, but I do wish it had been served warm or at least offered the option to warm it up. The bakery itself has a cozy vibe, we went at 9:20am, we’d definitely give it another try earlier in the day next time.“

“I appreciate having a local cafe where I can eat almost everything! They use no seed oils; it's 100% GF and have many dairy free options. They use homemade almond milk without the additives. I can enjoy a latte, a baked good like their pumpkin cupcake which is delicious, and they have amazing vegan bacon on their Sammy sandwich.“

“Tiramisu cake was top notch! Viking cake was super rich, but still delicious. Paired with red wines and vanilla bean ice cream. Ice cream came out first, cake about 3 minutes later, but wines were delayed quite some time. Service was fairly slow, but staff were extremely friendly and obviously hard at work. Huge portions! Recommendation: a garnish or side of strawberries with the Viking cake.“

“Their food was amazing! I had the panini vegano and I’ve been searching online how to make that eggplant tofu paste. Everything went so well in that sandwich! It also had olives, vegan feta, arugula and a hint of harissa (in the menu it said red bell pepper or something like that, but I believe they used harissa and it was the best!!). I can’t wait to go again and get the same and get other things haha. My partner and I also tried their pistachio croissant, which h was delicious! Their matcha was great, and the drinks highlight was their dirty chai. Everything was sooo good!“

The beertenders are fun, educated about the beers & are all family to me

The beer is some of the best i’ve had in my life, my desert-island beer lives on the board, Drink this or the Bees Die

Being gluten-free makes the beer healthier for me, less pain in my joints, no bloating, & tastes amazing.

“Its pho is one of best pho I enjoyed in SD. Its soup is light but has deep flavor. Even for a regular size, the portion was huge. Its popcorn chicken appetizer was good too (agree with other reviews).

“Like a few others here, I am a native New Yorker with a love for authentic and delicious rugulach with proper and freash ingredients.Chewy's rugulach is the best there is here on the west coast.I pick up the chocolate rugulach at the cookie bar at Whole Foods Market in El Segundo, and you should too! Just the most delicious snack one could ask for. Love the raspberry (not usually a Raspberry fan of anything) and the apricot as well!“
