“First visit, I had the Chimichurri Tri-Tip plate ($20.95).
The tri-tip was very good, nicely done. Good flavor and good serving size. Chimicurri sauce was also very good. The fries were served hot and crisp, mixed grilled veg serving was very small, focaccia bread (not shown) was fresh.
The counter service was slow, we were ignored for too long, with no acknowledgement.
We sat on outside patio area, staff was slow to clean tables (there were crows feeding off the leftover plates).“

“It’s our annual place to be every August for the last 17 years: celebrating 50 years of marriage! The food, service and atmosphere right on the beach is heavenly. Our bartender Steve congratulated us and we talked for a short time. Everyone is so friendly, can’t beat the quality of their meals ! We drive out from Phoenix to have their specialty. Well worth the ride❤️❤️❤️“

The coffee drinks are excellent, latte with good flavor and appropriate (not over-hot) temperature.
Yummy pastries. I particularly liked the pull apart bun.
Service staff were very friendly.
I recommend popping into this coffee shop while you walk Del Mar.“

“I appreciate having a local cafe where I can eat almost everything! They use no seed oils; it's 100% GF and have many dairy free options. They use homemade almond milk without the additives. I can enjoy a latte, a baked good like their pumpkin cupcake which is delicious, and they have amazing vegan bacon on their Sammy sandwich.“

“Tiramisu cake was top notch! Viking cake was super rich, but still delicious. Paired with red wines and vanilla bean ice cream. Ice cream came out first, cake about 3 minutes later, but wines were delayed quite some time. Service was fairly slow, but staff were extremely friendly and obviously hard at work. Huge portions! Recommendation: a garnish or side of strawberries with the Viking cake.“

“I stopped at this cafe for lunch with a friend. The outdoor seating was lovely, and the staff were very friendly. My friend ordered the panino all'uovo and a croissant, while I just got the panino all'uovo. It was filling, but a bit dry between the bread choice and the small amount of aioli, in my opinion. My friend thoroughly enjoyed both of his items and was eager to return in the future. I would definitely give this spot another try if I were back in the area.“

They charge $1 for literally the smallest piece I've ever seen and when I called to voice my concern about feeling ripped off, they didn't care. “We come here periodically and the food is always great. We appreciate the healthy choices, especially for our kiddos too. Even the soft drinks are yummy. I especially love their sauces and the chimichurri that comes with the empanadas is to die for. Our kids were having a rough time on one of our recent visits - our toddler was crying - and Louie was so kind and understanding. He saved the day with a couple of cookies for the kids. There was also an odd alarm going off behind their building that made it a little unpleasant to sit outside, but he found the security guard and got the issue fixed right away, which felt above-and-beyond. Coming here is always a little treat for our family, and we will definitely be back. Thanks Louie!“
