“First visit, I had the Chimichurri Tri-Tip plate ($20.95).
The tri-tip was very good, nicely done. Good flavor and good serving size. Chimicurri sauce was also very good. The fries were served hot and crisp, mixed grilled veg serving was very small, focaccia bread (not shown) was fresh.
The counter service was slow, we were ignored for too long, with no acknowledgement.
We sat on outside patio area, staff was slow to clean tables (there were crows feeding off the leftover plates).“

“It’s our annual place to be every August for the last 17 years: celebrating 50 years of marriage! The food, service and atmosphere right on the beach is heavenly. Our bartender Steve congratulated us and we talked for a short time. Everyone is so friendly, can’t beat the quality of their meals ! We drive out from Phoenix to have their specialty. Well worth the ride❤️❤️❤️“

“Darshan has the best sandwiches, pastries, and coffee in Del Mar. My kids love to watch them make croissants in the kitchen. Great wifi/spot to work if you are in the area, and has good predictable hours compared to other places. The parking spots are helpful in a town where that is always an issue. Their focaccia is DELISH!!!“

“I appreciate having a local cafe where I can eat almost everything! They use no seed oils; it's 100% GF and have many dairy free options. They use homemade almond milk without the additives. I can enjoy a latte, a baked good like their pumpkin cupcake which is delicious, and they have amazing vegan bacon on their Sammy sandwich.“

“Finally submitting my review for the most wonderful coffee shop I have been to in the United States. If you have visited San Diego and not gone to Lilli you have missed out on the biggest gem the city has to offer. Not only was the coffee, ambiance, and vibe impeccable but their service is unmatched. I was lucky enough to be served by the amazing Isabella and to say she made sure my experience was incredible is an understatement. Not only was she kind thoughtful and helpful but she had a conversation with me like I would have with an old friend. “Tiramisu cake was top notch! Viking cake was super rich, but still delicious. Paired with red wines and vanilla bean ice cream. Ice cream came out first, cake about 3 minutes later, but wines were delayed quite some time. Service was fairly slow, but staff were extremely friendly and obviously hard at work. Huge portions! Recommendation: a garnish or side of strawberries with the Viking cake.“

“I love this location. Been a handful of times. My first visit, was the first real time I have been introduced to Gluten Free beer. I have family friend who I believe is a “Celiac” and this brewery is one of the few that he can enjoy. I visited the Encinitas location, staff and vibe was off the day I went but here it’s always fun. Beer has gotten a little stale for me considering they always have the same product. So my only critique would be is experiment with more beers haha.“

I am so pleased that I found Sugarbears Sweet Provisions, not only was the customer service excellent, the cake was created just as I imagined and was absolutely delicious!! “I had the Mediterranean crunch salad, and it was just okay. A handful of the greens in the salad were wilty or turning yellow, which is disappointing when you're paying $20 for a simple salad. My boyfriend got the red curry, which he said tasted like a backpacking MRE (in a bad way). Speakers out on the patio are unnecessary and music is too loud. Friendly service was a plus.“

“Like a few others here, I am a native New Yorker with a love for authentic and delicious rugulach with proper and freash ingredients.Chewy's rugulach is the best there is here on the west coast.I pick up the chocolate rugulach at the cookie bar at Whole Foods Market in El Segundo, and you should too! Just the most delicious snack one could ask for. Love the raspberry (not usually a Raspberry fan of anything) and the apricot as well!“
