“Love these Tortillas! always find them in local grocery stores and my kids love these. i decided to check out the location after seeing its a local in vista. place is a little hidden but made my way to the office all the way in the back. lucky for me the tortilla size i wanted was just being made and they gave me one as soon as it was packaged! only thing is if you want corn tortillas you should get here early since they make some every night for all the restaurants they try not to have too much left over so they sell quick in the morning“

I have to be gluten free unfortunately but it doesn’t feel like a pain here, well labeled menu, they have regular gluten options so my boyfriend can choose anything as well, he has tried my gluten free options and said they are also just as good, the gluten free buns are pretty decent but I prefer the bowls, I’m not big on gluten free bread, the buns are not gluten free by default you have to ask for that just fyi, we love the food every time, bowls are great, the peri peri sauce is my fave“

“My wife and I were in town for one day to visit family. After the graduation ceremony we all gathered at Vigilucci’s for a 6:30 reservation. I was very impressed with the valet parking and great greeting once we walked it. They immediately sat us at our table and this was a busy Friday night. The restaurant is beautiful and has several different rooms. So they can handle a lot of diners.

Our server was exceptional, as was every staff member that came in contact with us.

We started with wine and their amazing homemade bread. Loved that bread it’s crispy and very tasty.

I ordered the seafood special and my wife had the tagliatelle with sausage. One of the others ordered the butternut squash dinner. Everything that came out was incredible!!! The seafood on my pasta was a large scallop, mussels in the shell, clams in the shell, two very large scrumptious shrimp and calamari. The pasta was delicious as well.

Then we topped it off with two orders of thru delicious tiramisu. OMG some of the best I’ve ever tasted.

Listen, I came to Carlsbad Village for the beach, but I’m pretty sure I’ve been permanently converted into a human chia seed after discovering Choice Juicery.

Let me paint you a picture: You’re lounging on their artificial grass outdoor seating (yes, GRASS, because apparently sitting on regular furniture is so 2010), sunshine warming your face, sipping a cold-pressed juice that’s so organic it probably knows the name of the farmer who grew it. This is the Carlsbad Village experience I didn’t know I needed.

I ordered the Avatar smoothie bowl because I too want to connect with nature and look as good as a blue alien, and OH MY GOODNESS. The granola was crunchy, the fruit was fresh, and I suddenly understood why everyone in the reviews sounds like they’ve achieved enlightenment. One reviewer said they wanted to spend their morning with “a book, the beach, and a smoothie bowl” and honestly? Goals. That person gets it.

The staff has that “vibrant energy” everyone mentions – they’re not just making smoothies, they’re conducting a symphony of superfoods. They let me sample things. They returned my glass bottle for credit. They made me feel like I was making the best life choices, which I was, because I was literally at a place called CHOICE.
Is it weird that I’m emotionally attached to a juice bar? Maybe. Do I care? Absolutely not. The outdoor vibe is chef’s kiss perfection – prime people-watching in the heart of the village, fresh ocean breeze, and the knowledge that everything I’m consuming is organic, plant-based, and probably reversing my terrible life decisions from last weekend.

If you’re in Carlsbad and don’t stop here, are you even really living? The answer is no. Go forth and get your açaí bowl. Your body will thank you, your Instagram will thank you, and that little voice in your head that says “maybe just one more burger” will finally quiet down.
TL;DR: Come for the cold-pressed juice, stay for the outdoor bliss, leave feeling like a wellness influencer. 11/10 would juice again. 🥬🌞​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​“

““The Carlsbad” comes exactly as shown. The eggs were poached perfectly and seasoned with an everything bagel type seasoning, same on the avocado, which was really good. The tater tots were not greasy or overcooked. The multigrain sourdough was great with butter (you can choose jam or hummus as well). The açaí bowl was really good and the fruit was fresh. We left off the cacao nibs, toasted coconut, chia seeds and hemp.“

She had just come from a vaccine doctor appointment and I promised she could pick out a special cupcake that I’d planned to pay for with cash. But due to COVID changes, only credit cards are accepted and I’d completely forgotten mine. We went to check the car for a card with no luck, and while out there, the employee came out with Audrey’s cupcake as a ‘gift’ instead. THANK YOU for making my daughter’s day because I was feeling so bad I was going to have to skip her special treat because I didn’t have the right form of payment. We’ll be back for sure!
