To be fair, my rating is based on a DoorDash order so I can only speak to flavor. This was our first Mexican food experience while visiting from Tennessee. We had the Al Pastor Tacos which had a red seasoning on the meat and unfortunately lacked flavor. The Churro Cheesecake is regular cheesecake with a drizzle of sauce and a churro placed on top - quite disappointing.
My family absolutely loves this place. It’s so charming, it’s quiet, a hole in the wall is the best way to describe the place. I don’t understand why they aren’t more busy than they are because its VERY good and reasonably priced. Oceanside has a lot of taco stands but not a lot of Mexican restaurants and this place takes the cake. We had our son's wedding rehearsal dinner at La Hacienda. It was a great event!! The food was great. The service was great. Everyone enjoyed themselves. We are really glad we were able to have this dinner at La Hacienda.
