“The food here was actually pretty good! You can sit in the patio with the view of the pool. You can also order from your pool chair. We chose to dine in for dinner.
Complimentary first round of chips and salsa, $4.99 additional. Chips made in house, thin and crispy.
We ordered:
-Pork belly chicharron: deep fried crispy pork belly in this elote salsa purée with tortillas and fruit on the side. Tastes exactly like the description. Tortillas made in house.
-Guacamole: Had corn and pepita seeds that look like Sun flower seeds. Adds a nice little crunch.
-Fish tacos: crispy beer battered fish cod were huge! Came in 3.
-Carne asada fries: Their house blend white cheese was not my favorite.
-Pozole: This was delish. I love hominy!
-Birria tacos: 3 thin birria tacos dipped with consome and came with rice and refried beans.
For drinks we got the watermelon Rita and peach Rita. Watermelon had the purée so it tasted refreshing. The peach was nasty. Server said it’s his second best. I should have went with my gut to get the gauge which had the purée.“

“4 stars because they have my chili rellenos and crunchy hard shell, shredded beef tacos and they make them right! I judge places based off of MY favorites 😍 the service is great, she's always SUPER busy, counter work AND the phone (thats always ringing) but she's ALWAYS pleasant and gives you a smile before you leave! We have MANY places with Mexican food in our area, but we tend to go here the most!“

“This is a very small space with limited seating, but it is also one of the few places I will stand in line. Handcrafted food made to order, and delicious. I have only had the bean and cheese burrito, and it was so well seasoned! This is not a two hands burrito, but well worth it!“

“I've visited this restaurant before, but on my most recent visit I had to leave a review. The aguas frescas are absolutely delicious and always refreshing. This time I tried the beef soup, and it was amazing—rich, flavorful, and comforting. It honestly tasted like something a grandmother would make with love at home.
There are no waiters, so you place your order at the register, but the staff is always friendly and welcoming. One thing I really enjoy is their condiment bar, where you can help yourself to their homemade pickled carrots, fresh salsas, and other toppings. Everything is fresh and adds so much flavor to the meal.
If you're looking for authentic Mexican food that tastes homemade, this place is definitely worth a visit. I'll be coming back again!“

“This is my FAVORITE Mexican food in all of North County. The food is AMAZING, horchata is amazing, the employees are really kind and I appreciate that they are following COVID guidelines not letting anyone inside...food is either ordered to go or there are a few tables outside you can sit at. “I was working in the area, hoping to find a spot for lunch. Passed on McD’s & hoped for anything else. I drove beyond my destination to see what might be around & found THIS incredible GEM. “found the Las Vegas Sayulitas 2 yrs ago when staying at the Luxor. there burritos are beyond spectacular. big and so delicious. I can't say it enough. and the sauces on the little sauce bar are outstanding. I've never had anything like those sauces. the hot green sauce and hot red sauce are phenomenal. I like the green the best. I lived in AZ years ago. went back home to upstate NY. there is no place near me that even comes close. I love Sayulitas and wish I had one near me. you can't go wrong if you love Mexican style food“

Whenever she’s there, you already know the food is going to be on point no doubt about it. Everything comes out fresh, hot, and exactly how it should be every single time

“Very good mini tacos, had that pollo asada and carne asada. Both were stuffed with meat and yummy. Tried to order mini fish taco but they only serve full size. It also was good, cream was a little on the sweet side which was unusual. They only serve bottled water which was disappointing. Overall, would go again.“

“I haven't been here in a while and was craving a beets, carrots, pineapple.and spinach juice. I ordered a large cup and requested no ice. I got my drink its it was just below half way with actual juice and the rest was foam, you can't drink the foam. I was about to get charged around $12 for a half empty cup of juice. I expressed my concern with the cashier and I asked her if she would charge me for the medium which is about $8. She was hesitant but eventually agreed to it. I feel like they fill the entire cup with ice and only top it off with a small amount of juice which is a rip off/scam.“

“Wonderful food and tasty drinks, quick, and your tacos come in a to-go box so you can walk right out if that's what you want! If not,
the tables are clean and chairs are comfy enough that you can eat for an hour! Difficult parking, if it's full you can come back 5 minutes later and there will be a spot free. (Video is my dad, he's been coming here for years even before the switch in ownership :) He loves this place)“
