“I came across this place by accident while on the way back from a work meeting. It's in the heart of the industrial park area in Scripps Poway and it looks a little commercial from the outside. The inside, however, is nicely decorated and clean with two levels of seating. You order at the cashier and the food is brought to your table. I had the Southern Fried chicken sandwich with a jalapeño slaw, a hazelnut mocha cream puff, and a cup of the green tea. The star was definitely the chicken sandwich. It was perfectly crispy and moist inside. The jalapeños in the slaw were mild and not overwhelmingly spicy, and the fries were crispy and not soggy. The hazelnut cream puff was good but there wasn't much of a hazelnut flavor. If it didn't have hazelnut in the description, I would've just thought it was a good mocha cream puff. I will definitely be coming back to try other things on the menu and more of the pastries in the display case.“

“I’ve never been obsessed with a coffee place before. Never had a spot that I ravenously looked forward to returning. They were always “nice” and useful, maybe.James is killing me nicely.The ham and cheese bear claw I had today, warmed, killed me.The cinnamon honey latte and the condensed milk and nutmeg latte have been divine. I’m so so utterly pleased and satisfied that they use whole milk. The foam and foam art from the baristas has been so good and so long lasting. Not too sweet, but also sweet enough, really nice.I’ve also tried a chocolate croissant and was again, utterly pleased.Please live forever. I love it here.I have zero doubts that the quality of everything, which I will slowly make my way through, will be to just as high a standard.The chocolate chip cookie looks expensive but exactly the right texture.“

I had the pleasure of meeting Amelia in the drive-through today. She was very kind and extremely knowledgeable of the different drinks. “Love this place. The matcha latte is great. The cheese matcha latte I also enjoyed. It’s foamy and slightly salty but overpriced imo. I’d rather stay with the normal matcha latte.Regrettably got the match latte with kokuto and cream. It’s basically brown sugar jelly added that decreases the amount of matcha latte. The jelly is tasteless and I didn’t like it.“

“I come here once in a while to indulge on my sweet cravings. Each visit, I'm always greeted by the friendly staff to take my drink orders. This place also offers a kiosk to order drinks if you prefer self serve service. The times I have gone were majorly off peak hours so I am able to place my order right at the counter. They have music that varies in genres playing in the background upon entering. It's not too loud where your thoughts are drowned out like other boba places I have visited, which is nice. So far, I've always gotten exactly what I asked for on my order. The price point is similar to other shops in the area. Today I had gotten the taro slushie with boba which is a go to flavor. It was a little icy meaning it could've been blended a few seconds longer to make it uniformly smooth. I still enjoyed it. I only wish they could add avocado smoothies to the menu as that is another go to flavor of mine.“

“7 years ago I posted about the addition of Clover to this mighty store, sadly it was soon gone. Today 1/10/2024 the Clover is back! The Clover Vertica is the same brewing technology but faster, efficient, and sustainable. I tried the Guatemala today and the flavor was just unrivaled. “We showed up about 5mins after they opened. The staff was SUPER friendly and chatted with my son (toddler). We got great service and the manager (Jamie) even talked me through the wall art which displayed the coffee making process. It was a fantastic experience! So good ... I had to come to Trip Advisor to tell everyone.“

“I loooove Sunnyside! My fiancé and I typically come here on saturdays and always really enjoy it. The service is great, the restaurant is cute, and the food is fantastic. I always say this when we're there but I feel like what makes Sunnyside so good is that it doesn't taste like restaurant food. It reminds me of like, the best sandwich you, or someone who loves you, would make to eat at home.“
