The barista was friendly and explained some of their house syrups and I ended up choosing the dulche de leche latte. It was amazing! “I recently had a fundraising event and Sunny Side was such a great choice for catering. After I sent an email, I got a call back and we walked through the order and right sized it. The guests really enjoyed an artichoke quiche, strawberry chicken salad and three types of mini cookies. Everyone raved about the food. It was all packaged up to be easy to serve. I would highly recommend working with Sunny Side on your next catering need!“

The atmosphere is super casual, making it perfect for hanging out or getting some work done. The staff is friendly and quick, which is always a plus. Their sandwiches are delicious! I had a BLT that they customized for me by adding sprouts, spinach, and cheese. I even added extra bacon—because, really, who doesn’t love more bacon? The sandwiches are always on point here. I did have a funny little mix-up during my visit. I went to the counter to check on my regular drip coffee with three shots of espresso (I love my coffee strong!) and the lady said, “Here’s your BLT!” Confused, I replied, “I’m already eating one but it wasn’t the one I had ordered but that’s ok because I was hungry.” Turns out they printed my ticket twice. I offered to pay for the extra sandwich, but they insisted it was on the house. I ended up giving the extra BLT to one of our local homeless residents, which felt good. Overall, Kettle Coffee and Tea is a fantastic spot with yummy food and a welcoming staff. Definitely recommend!“

“I went to O’Brien’s for the first time today. My Mother-in-law highly recommended the restaurant so I could meet my friend. The food was delicious. The service was great- Thank You Sarah and team. I am so excited to try the different types of breads and pastries. O’ Brien’s is known for their delicious breads, especially sour dough. If you are in the San Diego area, differently check out this restaurant! Sit down and relax with your favorite cup of coffee or tea with a sweet pastry, great bread or something from their delicious menu.“

“I enjoy coming here to grab a quick pick me up, especially when I’m on a tight schedule. Every time I’ve gone here, everyone has been friendly and the service has been great! If there is a line for the drive thru, it usually goes pretty fast and I’m out within 5 minutes“

The person who served me, Alexa, was also really nice and sweet, and was also really patient when I was hesitating on what to order lol. I hope to come back again whenever I'm in the area!!“

“I frequented a chain coffee shop you all probably know. Someone said try Dutch bros. The first one did not like it. Too strong. They helped me figure out a good drink. Suggested half sweet and it was great. The menu has iced, freezes and shakes. Plus they have a great rewards program and they drop free stuff. Big plus the staff are always nice. Give it a try. Hope they open more locations update: now they have food, not just the muffin tops. Breakfast sliders hit the spot!“

“Just discovered Chocolate Bash and it’s my new favorite! It’s like being in Europe- the desserts are to die for. We split a Dubai Chocolate Strawberry cup and a Bash Roll (crepe with strawberries, bananas and Belgian chocolate . Can’t wait to come back and try more!“

“Have been a long time fan of Tina’s Deli on twin oaks. Was over in Escondido around the automotive area and looked here for best sandwich near me and saw this saw right around the corner. Had the turkey with bacon on sourdough and was happy! Great ingredients. Very good sourdough. Be back soon.“

But it’s a good place to grab a quick drink or bite at the mall. There’s a decent seating area and everything is always clean and well-stocked. Prices high but again, it’s the mall.“

“The Matcha and the toasted green tea ice-cream was good, it wasn't too sweet. I got a Maiko jelly parfait medium for $11.31 and it was underwhelming. The jelly was half frozen and not from the ice cream as at the bottom of the cup i could see peices of ice. The agar had a good texture and the mochi was tasty. I probably wont come here again but i am not unhappy that I bought it. I just think that this place isn't for my tastes. But customer service was nice and let me sample their ice creams before ordering and they have a self service kiosk if you know what you like/want.“
