Frequent patron, first time for brunch. Crab cakes benedict was tasty as was the cocktail. We sat indoors so were not able to hear the music since they were performing on the patio. The music was caribbean rather than Jazz, but no big deal. Prices were higher than many of the other breakfast spots I go to so this will not be a regular place for me, just for special occasions or out of town guests.
Our family had dinner at Black Rail for my daughter's 20th birthday, and we were all happy with the experience. We each got different items, including seafood pasta, lamb meatballs and steak, and each was tasty and nicely presented. The live jazz was a great addition, but not so loud that it drowned out conversation. We sat on the patio, which was a lovely space for a summer night.

This is a well run restaurant with excellent and interesting selections. The space is beautiful and inviting with a happy, upscale feel. It is spotlessly clean and our server, Rose, was just wonderful! Thanks Jenny and Grant!
