“Everybody” told me to go to the Taco Stand, I’ve passed the line in La Jolla multiple times and said, “I heard that taco place is good.” How many times do you have to be told??? Alex swears by the Al Pastor, being vegan I went with the mushroom taco and a mushroom burrito, a bit excessive. The tacos are delicious, the mushrooms are slathered in a roasted herb blend that makes them feel meaty. Had an amazing time at The Taco Stand! The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious. Every bite was bursting with flavor, and the service was excellent. Can't wait to go back for more!

Fish tacos were great. Nice toppings and tasted fresh. Nice presentation also. Carne Asade fries were extremely filling and messy, but delicious. Inside is noisy but I think that is part of the experience. Popular place.
