4.8/5Out of state review.I went back to tip more because both my wife and I were pleased with the quality of service and especially food for the price.We had a couple of light beers we were pleased with. Shared the French fry appetizer - extremely happy with. The sauces and French fries appeared to be scratch made!Would recommend!
It's a great place to have a hearty beer. The menu is somewhat downscaled masquerading as a "i dont care enough to be fancy" choice. But the food items are prepared with care and in a timely manner. The draft beer i had was refreshing and very well bodied.Service... is a bit cold, almost like the server/bartender was rushing when there weren't many things to rush for.As i looked around, I took notice of the decor. I have had many great experiences here. I usually sit up at the bar and the staff are all super knowledgeable and friendly. One thing to note is that it can get really crowded on days that are sunny/summer days when the beach is crowded. This goes for all of downtown Encinitas. Lots of people bring their dogs as well so that is a huge plus
