“Great place to get brick oven wood fired pizzas! Amazing selection and variety of options. Loved their appetizers as well - risotto balls with prosciutto and parmesan cheese, and fried ravioli with ricotta cheese. Their beer selection was great as well - a lot of nice local beer on draft. Loved the Choco porter :) and the dessert, butterscotch pudding, is to die for!!! If you are ever in the Encinitas area and love pizza do try, and you won't be disappointed!!!“
“When we travel to SoCal we make Thursday oyster night an event on our calendar. From 4 to 6 oysters are $1.25 each - a great deal! We always get 2 dozen assorted (which is now the limit) plus a few extra items. The salads are fantastic. I recommend upgrading to the ahi or scallops. The scallops taco is also good. Scallops are not overcooked and rubbery, which I appreciate. I don't recommend anything deep-fried. French fries were barely warm and were not very crisp. Onion rings have too much batter, so we ended up peeling off a lot of uncooked dough. The calamari we ordered one visit had a heavy layer of batter. Wine is a little overpriced for such a casual place. The service is great when not too busy, with very friendly staff. They really only ring up your order at the counter and bring it to your table. We love the atmosphere but usually eat inside so we don't have to listen to traffic. If you focus on fresh seafood you will really enjoy this place.“

“Much better than past visits. Too many times you're just ignored by the teenage cashier or food is just not cared for due to being busy. Place was busy, but it was clear management was on it that night (Mon 3/11) could see some guests were just plain rude or disrespectful, but the staff kept with it and killed it with kindness, service and stuck with the quality of food you'd expect for a place with the name, "Best Pizza?". Glad to be back home and see such a turn around“
“What a gem! Ambiance is wine shop and old rhymes. Love that you can pick out a bottle and drink it there or get a glass from the wine list. Small bites like flatbread and cheese samplers. No kitchen food. Servers love wine and are super helpful with suggestions. See what you like and you can even become a member. Special wine dinners and tasting events. Can't wait to go back for more sips.“
“We went down to LEGOLAND, and while I love the bricks, you definitely want to go off property and try all the good food around the area. Best Pizza & Brew was so awesome - quite the line - but it moved quickly. Easy to find a seat and the beer choices were a lot of fun - My Darkest Sour was a big hit - the pizza was delicious as was the rest of our haul - chicken wings on point - garlic knots (actual knots) so good - salad was crispy and fresh. Kids had a blast - open air - with fire out front. Staff was so nice - answered all my questions and all and all I have to say that next time I am down there I will remember to stop in. Loved it - you should go for sure.“

“The best brewery in the area. If you like beer you have to come here. We come here a lot when we are visiting and for good reason. The beer is so good, the atmosphere is great, and they are dog friendly (the whole square is). It’s never too rowdy and the beer is always delicious and well crafted. They also have nice clean bathrooms and TV for sports people.Parking: We have always been able to find parking here no matter how busy its been.“

“We loved this restaurant. We were visiting and arrived late one evening and were so pleasantly impressed with the food and service. We had the hummus appetizer and it was the best we’ve ever had, it had grilled vegetables, hot grilled pita, tzatziki, and wonderful hummus with pesto dollops. We also each had salads with grilled chicken that were excellent.“
“Came to Del Mar for a nice afternoon visit with the kids. Was worried about food being too upscale. Wanted a nice beer and tried WestBrew. What an excellent choice. I had the WestBrew burger with a side salad, and it was the best food I’ve had since being in California all week. Wife had the club and loved it. They have kids menus, crayons, and kids cups. Had the seal cove and was very surprised by its delicious taste. Great choice of IPAs. Super simple little spot and would def. “I really like this place a lot! They had ample seating, a bar, and really good pizza! Service was friendly as well. I stopped by here during happy hour and the food was very reasonably priced. I got a drink and two slices for under $10 which was reasonable since the slices are a good size. Definitely coming back here! “OMG, the beer here is fantastic. It's different, fruity, almost like a juice bar, with a kick. I tried the 'Green Jello Smoothie Ale'. Totally delicious. One is not enough. I am prefer a blonde or stout ale and stay away from the fruity beers, but wow, this one was good. The service is very good, the server was more than happy to tell us about their beers. The place was much like you would expect at a place that was in its infancy, bare bones but not too bad. I have been to worse. It was wrestling night and there was a ring outside & some amateur wrestlers, fun stuff. When friends come into town, I'll take them there.“

“Recently moved to the area and decided to stop in on New Years Eve for an early dinner. The place wasn't too busy, but still had a great vibe. We were greeted by Jade, who was super friendly and explained each of the flavors of the Hard Kombuchas and even let us try a few! I had the Key Lime Pie. Their sushi menu is extensive, and has the basic sushi rolls and also specialities. Jade also knew a lot about the menu and the rolls, and recommended the moonlight roll and the grandview. We also got other items on the menu. Overall, we highly enjoyed the place and are happy we have a taproom/sushi in our new home!!“

“On our North Park to Escondido trip with the crew, our third stop was at New English Brewing. They offer a wide variety of beers to sample in a spacious and inviting atmosphere. So far, every beer we've tried has been poured perfectly into their glasses and tasted fantastic. If you're in the area, be sure to stop by and check them out.“
“Best sandwich shop around. This is the original one and its in the best location. Easy to take one to-go and bring it to the beach, or stay and have an ice cold brew while there. You must get their sauce if you go. In my opinion it what makes the sandwich SO incredibly good. I usually get the cold ones (turkado) but i have had the chicken sandwich as well which was great.“

“Have I ordered this sandwich twice in two days? Yes. I am giving this spot a 4 star because I ordered out and I can't tell you what the experience is like eating in. What I can tell you is this place makes great sandwiches! The potato salad was a bit too bland for me, but their sandwiches are fresh and pack flavor. I will definitely be ordering from here one more time before I leave town tomorrow!“
“In from out of town and this was our first stop, after many hours in the car. This place was on our radar coming into town and it was really busy (told us it was good) midday on a Saturday. Considering the crowd the service was pretty fast. Pizza was really good and we wanted to go back but never was able to get back. Had out two dogs and they were welcomed on their front patio area under the tent… even brought water for them.Pepperoni pizza was loved by our kids. Parents had the margarita pizza and a few hazy ipa beers, and loved them all. Dogs had scraps and crumbs they snarfed under the picnic tables, and they seemed pleased as well.“

I found my 1/2 Rack of Ribs to be on the tougher side but my wife enjoyed her Pulled Pork Sandwich. Good choice of brewskies! Very nice on a good evening as most seating is outside.“
“I have had many great experiences here. I usually sit up at the bar and the staff are all super knowledgeable and friendly. One thing to note is that it can get really crowded on days that are sunny/summer days when the beach is crowded. This goes for all of downtown Encinitas. Lots of people bring their dogs as well so that is a huge plus“
