Fish 101 is a great place for seafood, located right next to the beach in Cardiff with close ocean access. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable, with friendly service that makes customers feel at home. The food is fantastic, with grilled mahi tacos that are fresh and flavorful, and fish and chips that are absolutely spectacular—perfectly crispy and not greasy. The tomato and coconut milk soup is very flavorful. Each dish comes out hot, fresh, and delicious. Service dogs are welcome. Parking can be a bit difficult with street parking and special areas, but it is free and safe. Fish 101 is usually crowded, but the service is still welcoming and friendly. The workers are always busy clearing tables and delivering meals to keep the atmosphere clean. A bonus is local draft beer, and there is a brewery close by to take food there if preferred. Highly recommend.
