“Delicious! I've gotten the Social and Chili, and they were both delicious! The social is extremely flavorful but MESSY and greasy. The egg is drippy and messy but I'll always add it. The chili is also delicious and the pita is so soft! The people are super friendly and the price is fair considering everywhere else on campus is just the same price but smaller servings. I always go during lunch time and it's not too bad. There's definitely a rush but it doesn't get loud, and you can sit inside or outside. The food comes out fast so that's a plus for me since I'm on a time crunch!10/10 recommend if you're on campus and have time to sit down and eat!“
“If you’re vegetarian and craving pizza, Dough Momma is the place to be. I’m not a thin crust kind of gal but their toppings surpassing my favorite pizza joint.I had the Burrata Margherita ($29), class cheese ($22) and Vegan (23).The margherita is one of the two highest price pizzas on the menu. Make sense because it’s all fresh ingredients with tomatoes, Burrata, mozzarella, no sauce but drizzle with a white garlic sauce and garnished with basil.I never eat cheese pizza but I love the cheese pizza here. Basic red sauce mozzarella. I like it because it had more sauce than cheese. If you want to know if a place is good, check out the cheese pizza. Dough Momma passes the test!The Vegan was fully loaded spinach, olives, red onions, roasted tomatoes, herbs and balsamic reduction.Some pizzas are offered by the slice. At first glance, the garlic knots could pass as a mini cinnamon roll! They have cookies and wide selection of beers and alcohol.Parking sucks but it’s in a cute neighborhood with outdoor seating.“
“Great fresh seafood! We ordered the grilled octopus, the steamed clam + mussels, ceviche, and fish n’ chips.First everything you can tell is fresh- something I truly appreciated. The grilled octopus was perfectly cooked and comes with a delicious salad. One of the best octopus plates I’ve had. The steamed clam + mussels were also delicious- it actually reminded me of one of my favorite meals I had on a visit to Portugal. Fish n’chips were also very good.Ceviche was meh. I would recommend not getting this. If they could take it off their menu, even better because the other things they have are so great.“

The cucumber pickles took me right back to my childhood, to family dinners on the High Plains, prepared by my bachelor farmer great-uncles and an unmarried aunt or two, who had their Southern roots in their memories. “Very good service. They treated us very respectfully and attentively during our stay. The special tacos are quite large with a price of $10 each and the mini tacos or street tacos are $5. Their drinks are delicious and fresh fruit waters even more so. Beers in variety. I was satisfied with a specialty taco and 2 street tacos. The place is clean and quiet.“
“My daughter and I are from Arizona and we were at the beach and decided to try coaster saloons and it was amazing. Their food was so good and the service was awesome we didn’t stay and eat we took it to go but they were very nice and welcomed us right when we walked in and again, the food was amazing and I highly recommend it.“

“I've been on a burger kick so my husband has been taking me to all his favorite places. I ordered the balboa burger and it was delicious ! Along with the fries , I really enjoyed the aioli sauce. The fish and chips....try it, just do it, SO GOOD. I have also now gotten the PM breakfast burrito and hot diggity!! I had also gotten a side salad and the size was for sure worth the extra $4, it could have been a entree itself. “We visited on the 22nd 23rd and 25th of September in 2023 (Jim and Priya) I've been in a lot of cigar lounges and this is by far the most awesome experience I've ever had. The decor is like a movie set and the crowd is young and fun and eclectic. You will not find better ambiance anywhere. The host Christine took fabulous care of us and even let me borrow her torch - not something every lounge will do. They serve a nice selection of beer/wine and are open till Midnight. When we find ourselves in town again we're sure to come back.“

“I recommend lemon jin if you don't like the taste of alc but still want to drink alc. I personally thought it just tasted like soda, so I didn't like it much. Ddeokbokki is good, nothing special. Service was friendly and attentive, especially Aidan and Kory. Aidan is hysterical with a grand sense of humor...hoping to return before I head home. If you are like me, you’ll remember how Mom would heat the oven to 450 degrees and place the block of ice Hungry Man pot pie in the oven for one hour till it transformed into a cauldron of molten lava. My mother would even crack open the hood of the pie and load it with an extra cup of frozen peas and carrots that would cook to perfection in the heavenly inferno of scrumptious delight, which made me the muscular hunk of love that I am today. The San Diego Chicken Pie Shop serves up a pie that is an even better recipe than the one in my memories of my dear Mom. If your are nearby, give it a try.“

He was very knowledgeable about the menu items and gave us specific details about the ingredients. The beet salad on a bed of arugula was fresh and well presented. My sea bass was cooked to perfection, moist with a nice sear on top.The German chocolate cake and coffee topped off an enjoyable meal.The excellent service and courtesy from the Parado emplyees really set the bar high.“
“Came to Del Mar for a nice afternoon visit with the kids. Was worried about food being too upscale. Wanted a nice beer and tried WestBrew. What an excellent choice. I had the WestBrew burger with a side salad, and it was the best food I’ve had since being in California all week. Wife had the club and loved it. They have kids menus, crayons, and kids cups. Had the seal cove and was very surprised by its delicious taste. Great choice of IPAs. Super simple little spot and would def. “This restaurant is absolutely amazing. I have not had such a great dining experience like this in such a long time. We visited SD for the 1st time and selected Fred's based on their dog friendly patio. I am SO happy we came here. Upon arriving we were greeted by the hostess Alyssa who was bright bubbly & so sweet to our dog Mojito. We were sat right away at a great table by the fire. Service was so quick to bring a fresh bowl of water for Mojito. Our server Stephanie was amazing!! She was energetic and her positive attitude was refreshing. She made a great drink recommendation for me and got our orders going quickly. Before our food arrived I was already so happy with the experience- I mean where else can you take your dog where they get their own menu & are treated so kindly?? I was ready to expect average Mexican food since we came from Phoenix and my fiancé is Mexican himself. But the food was FANTASTIC. I ordered the cheese enchiladas with refried beans and my fiancé ordered the California Burrito. I had the berry mojito that was on special, and finished up the night with a surprise shooter that Stephanie recommended for me. Everything was fantastic. Wait time 10/10, service 12/10, pricing is very fair and reasonable compared to Phoenix 10/10. I wish we lived here so we could come back more frequently, but I can say that this will easily become a mandatory visit for any future trips to SD. “Dying for a beer? Black Plague is a great spot for a beer and a bite with a spooky theme. This North Park location is a taproom for Black Plague, a brewery with their main location in Oceanside. It's a bit cozy, but it has distinctive Plague Doctor theme, and other spooky stuff to help it stand out from your "normal" brewery. We tried a pretty large portion of the beer menu, and everything was good. None of the beer truly stood out as different or special, but not every brewery needs to experiment with new things. We got some food that was easy to share with the group, cheese curds (Curds of Doom) and poutine (Molten Mayhem). It's appropriate bar food for the location. PROPS: Unique theme that extends from how the location is decorated, to the names of every item. This is a great place for pictures. SLOPS: While everything we ate and drank was good, nothing stood out as great. It feels like they're playing it safe with the menu.“

They have Trivia Tuesday and Wing Wednesday.We just missed their happy hour from 3-5pm M-T so we just got tasters and hung out.Loved that they offer variety of food like Korean fried chicken sandwich, Bavarian pretzel, and plant based impossible burger. The beers on tap have 3 sizes.I got 5 ounce Carlsbad crush which was too hoppy for me but if you pair it with food, it took the hoppiness down and a notch.Then I had the 5 ounce Invita - Mexican lager which was light and yummy. Tasted even better with food pairing.The location is at a corner. Literally a short block from the Sante Fe Depot trolley stop. All tables were bar height except for two tables in the corner.Friendly staff and great ambiance.Dogs are allowed in the patio. However, inside dogs are reserved for service animals.“
“Best sandwich shop around. This is the original one and its in the best location. Easy to take one to-go and bring it to the beach, or stay and have an ice cold brew while there. You must get their sauce if you go. In my opinion it what makes the sandwich SO incredibly good. I usually get the cold ones (turkado) but i have had the chicken sandwich as well which was great.“

Totally realize that she probably thought my bf was picking up an order as a delivery driver instead of being the customer. Still, didn’t love that moment.
