“If you are looking for a true Italian experience in San Diego, look no further than Vinarius! We worked with Giuseppe (owner) to host our wedding celebration here back in March, 2023. From the beginning, he was amazing to work with. Incredibly positive and accommodating from the start, we couldn’t have asked for more. The wedding ceremony was planned to be outside and of course, it rained that day. Guiseppe and his staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, allowed us to have the small ceremony inside the restaurant on short notice and made an incredible meal to follow. Our guests were blown away and we couldn’t have been happier. We recommend Vinarius to everyone we know and that is thanks to Giuseppe and his awesome staff. Grazie mille!“

“Ok, I am from NY and love pizza. I am not a NYC pizza snob though and welcome all iterations of 'za! I have to say that this pizza is probably the best I have ever had of its type. They are "Roman" slices, meaning focaccia crust. Variety of slice options are insane with creative combinations that are not only imaginative, but insanely delicious. Slices are cooked upon ordering for supreme freshness. I especially like the Lussuria - prosciutto, black pepper, mashed potato, mozzarella and olive oil. (I NEVER thought I would like mashed potato on a slice, but it's insanely good.) The help here is amazing as well. Caesar was working the oven and he gave great suggestions and explained the product well. Very inviting and definitely steered me in the right direction. Need gluten free? They got it! Will make a GF slice for you right on the spot. I challenge anyone to have just one slice. I had to go back for 2 more. Enjoy!“

“I absolutely love Elvira! The night I went, I spotted the legend himself, Guy Fieri - which felt like all the validation I needed. If it’s good enough for him to sit down and eat, you know it’s good. The pasta is incredible, unique, and full of flavor. “This is the second year in a row we have stayed at Crystal Pier in San Diego. Both trips we have ordered deliver from SD TapRoom and all of our meals have been delicious. Last night was the best one for me though. I actually called them thinking they had deliver me a regular crust pizza instead of gluten-free (I have celiac). It tasted WAY TOO GOOD to be gluten-free, but it was! I have no idea how they made such a good crust (I actually said this can’t be what I ordered since it tasted so good)! The salads are also fabulous and my sister had the fish taco’s and loved them. Chili and burgers have also been a hit. Thanks for a great couple of dinners!“

“I always crave NY style pizza and am always disappointed by places that claim to have it. Pauly’s hit the mark- this was true NY pizza, right down to the required fold. The Gilato was delicious too- try the cannoli flavor! Not only was the food great, but the customer service matched. The two ladies were beyond friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!“

“Best pizza I have ever tried. My son told me about Pit Pizza because that's what they eat at school. He loves it so much and made me curious to try it. We drove from La Mesa to Clairemont Dr just to try this precious pizza, mind you it's about a 30-minute drive. Got there and all the workers were very nice and I loved that it was a drive-through order. The owner was just amazing. We got home and boy, oh boy! It was worth every drive I made. The pizza was delicious. I'll be going there every Friday for some good pizza. Fridays are our movie night and pizza day in our house. Before I forget, he also let me have a dessert for free. Great place to visit. I recommend. I'll give them a five-star and 100% validation. ♥️💕“

“As a French visitor living close to the Italian border, I’m probably a little picky about pizza. I can honestly say these are very good pizzas!

What made the experience even better was the warm welcome. My spoken English is very bad but the person who took my order was very patient and friendly. We talked together and it made me feel really welcome. I really appreciated that.
