“Oh my goodness- the food at this coffee house is so good. We ordered the “Signature Breakfast Sandwich” , the 2 Scone w/ flight of 6 Butter Sampler and a Vanilla Latte. The total bill came to $31 (not bad for the quality of food and drink). The breakfast sandwich was flavorful (bacon, egg, cheese and sauce). The bread was toasted to perfection and the house chipotle aioli sauce added an excellent touch. The butter for the scones were out of this world delicious; scones were baked perfectly. A+ is the score I’d give to this establishment.“

“We have ordered food from here well over a dozen times & every time the food has been fantastic. We ordered our usual chicken pizza but were unsure whether our order was wrong due the protein looking like pork sausage. The man we spoke to on the phone was very kind when we stated our confusion & told us to come in to replace pizza & bring our pizza back in as we did not eat any of it. Turns out they put fried chicken on it. (Great idea!) We didn’t realize what this was until after the fact. He gave us a new pizza & told us to keep the original one. That was very generous, thank you! We have been to many different pizza places in La Mesa area but this is by far our favorite. Thank you again!“

“The pizza was great. I did ask them to cook my wings a little longer to which they didn’t do. My wings also had barely any sauce. I think we just caught them on a bad day. I did have to wait around 40 minutes after my promised time. The place is small and there is a female employee who is really loud and obnoxious. She was yelling at her colleagues and didn’t even know where to take the pizzas. They weren’t stingy with their jalapeños on my personal pizza. I think they were in a rush to complete my order so they forgot that I paid for extra pepperoni. I’ll give the place an other chance hopefully when I go they’re not in a rush.“

“I used to delivery drive for Pizza Hut for years in Chula Vista and Bonita. I live in La Mesa and have been dying to have a Pizza Hut location that will deliver to me. Finally it is here! Pizza Hut Express in grossmont.
I've had three deliveries so far and everything is perfection.
Pizza Hut is the best pizza ever in my book - especially the stuffed crust. Everybody else gets the stuffed crust wrong - everyone. Pizza hut has always had the best dough - thanks to the dough masters.

“I drive 30min round-trip to get these sandwiches once a month for the past year. Tried *most* deli's in SD, incl Mona Lisa, Hungry Lu's, Girl's and Poma's, while these are def good, this one's the winner. Their grinders (semolina sesame-topped) are THE BEST in SD because they stay true to the east coast classic - Pomas has bread just as good, IMO. Their speciality foccacia-equivalent is fine. And, their deli meats and ingredients are fresh, quality, and cut thin. Their pizza is mid - too thick and doughy for my liking and sauce is ok. Garlic knots are outta this world. Have not had the pasta or hot sandwiches. It is a deli/market first, pizza second. This is why food is 4/5. Service is great, although have had situations where they run out of their semolina bread, so call ahead if you want that. Not a negative, just goes to show how great this place is.

I was unable to add a side of ranch to my online order so I called the store to ask them to include some in my order and they gave it to me complimentary.
