Pizzería El Jefe es una pizzería mexicana con todo el vibe de Tijuana: desde que entras huele a buena pizza, el lugar es amplio, muy limpio y bien organizado. El servicio fue excelente, el cajero súper amable y atento, nos explicó todas las pizzas y se nota que conocen bien su producto. Probamos la pizza “Me gustan tus piñas” 🍍🔥 Adobada, con piña, jalapeños, cebolla roja y salsa poblana. La masa está increíble, doradita, crujiente y con sabor real a trigo, como hecha en casa. El queso se derrite perfecto y al morderla es una explosión de sabor. También pedimos “La Paisa” 🇲🇽🍕 Con chorizo, tocino, frijoles, jalapeños, bell pepper, cebolla, cilantro, salsa de tomate y hongos. Bien cargada, bien balanceada y con ese sabor mexicano que reconforta. Para cerrar, unas alitas chipotle mango 🍗🔥 Doraditas, jugosas y con la salsa en su punto. Pizza mexicana bien hecha, con identidad y mucho sabor. Definitivamente un lugar al que vamos a regresar. 💯“

“I first met Mario, the owner, when he was selling pizza outside the brewery I worked at many, many years ago. Followed him as he helped open The Friendly up the block, and finally I'm stoked he's brought his talent to Chula Vista, my hometown. The burgers are my favorite, consistent and great, my wife and I always share a side of fires, and they're fresh and plenty for two to share. Crispy and juicy burgers with fresh vegetables and made how you ask. The chopped beef sandwich is super good, and the pizza is true to its NY style. All affordable, all legit.“

They generously donated to our local, essential workers during the pandemic...on numerous occasions. ❌I got shrimp scampi with zucchini fettuccine---why is this even on the menu. It looked like half a serving with 15 pieces of fettuccine noodles (no joke) and the sauce left much to be desired in terms of flavor. $23+ not worth it. See sad dish below.“

“Super friendly, family-owned pizzeria with great service. I placed my order in advance, and it was ready right on time. The only downside for me was the crus, it had a slightly sweet, almost like cookie taste, which isn’t my preference. However, the tomato sauce was incredibly fresh and delicious. If I return, I’ll definitely try the regular crust to see if it has the same sweetness.“

“As someone who’s pretty picky about Italian food in San Diego, this is one of the few spots that consistently delivers. The portions are generous, the prices are fair, and the quality doesn’t slip.

Get the chicken parm. The red sauce is the standout. You can tell it’s made with care, not just thrown together.

On top of that, the staff is genuinely welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. This is one of those places I keep coming back to and always recommend without hesitation.“

Only 2 things could've been better.
I asked for ground pepper and even mimed the grinding motion. She brought pepper in a shaker. Oh, well.
When I asked for the bill she came with her hand held device and announced OUT LOUD that it was $105.00.
My date shouldn't hear the price of the tab. This really lacked finesse.
I didn't say anything, but now regret it.

“Ordered some pizza here for a pool party nearby and was my first time here. Got the biggest size pepperoni pizza and the pizza was delicious! Everyone asked where I had ordered it from and I gladly let em know where. The day I ordered the guy even offered to assist me because it was just me picking up the pizza solo and I’m so glad he did help those pizzas are always so huge! “Such a cozy, old school pizzeria vibe! They offer pizzas, sandwiches, salads, and lots of Italian faves like lasagna and ravioli. Everything we have had from here has tasted great! My only critique - the food could sometimes be a little hotter.
And the best part?! They have a large, free parking lot!“

“The Pizza here is great! Always clean inside. I removed a star because I enjoy having chili peppers on my pizza and it is very hard to find the topping in the restaurant. The pepper is always sitting in a table where it was left at but the last time I went there was none.“

“I am a regular customer, I come almost every Friday to buy two Pizzas for our family and the service is always pleasant. Yesterday Cameron was our Host and he was very attentive and professional as well as polite. I did feel bad for him because as he was trying to place the order and charge us he had such a hard time being able to see because the Sun glare was right on his face. Please Management be mindful and place a blind set or a Tint on the glass to help your staff as well as us the customers.“

“This is a nice little market. Good variety of snacks and drinks. The pizza is not the best you've ever had, but it's comparable to good frozen pizza. The staff is friendly and it's a good place to buy lottery tickets. Be aware that between 2:30 and 3:30 pm on weekdays, the market is busy with students from the nearby high school and middle school.“

If you use TMobile Tuesday App for 25% off with code TMT25, you can get it for $7.49. I guess you really got to read the fine print and navigate around. -------------------- Papa Johns and T-Mobile team up to mislead consumers on their deals. The T-Mobile Tuesday app mislead me into thinking I received a free large 1 topping pizza, but it was a gimmick. Because they have it under "My Stuff" doesn't mean you get to redeem it. The other deal they have is to get 25% off of your order online for carryout only. While I was at the store, I check the online price for a large one topping pizza. It was $18.95. With 25% off, this leaves a one topping large pizza for about $14. Well, the deal at the store is 2 large 2 toppings pizza for only $22. That would price a large two toppings pizza for only $11. Now, (1) why would anyone go online to order if the price is substantially higher, and (2) what's the purpose of using a coupon from T-Mobile when it is cheaper to go the store and order. This Papa Johns location is clean and the staffs are friendly, this is not a reflection of them. However, I will no longer go to Papa Johns and Uninstall the T-Mobile Tuesday App immediately. All of the deals on T-Mobile Tuesday have a gimmick, do not use it.“

“I've been a regular customer at this Pizza Hut, and the employees are always great. However, there's a recurring issue with a group of kids who are constantly harassing customers and causing a disturbance. It happens daily between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. This behavior is creating a very uncomfortable and disruptive environment. I hope the staff can take action to address this issue and ensure the safety and comfort of their customers.“
