The food & service was excellent. The owner checked on every table & takes pride in his restaurant which shows in the quality of the food. The head meat tacos were excellent! “I come to San Diego often to visit my family, and during one visit I was craving Thai food so we looked up a place nearby and this restaurant came up. Luck was on our side because this turned out to be such a great meal! When my family and I came in we needed a table to seat 6 people and they quickly got a table together for us. I ordered the red curry with vegetables and this place truly lived up to its name! The ingredients tasted fresh and the curry was so delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meal. As we ate and talked we saw a lot of people come in to pick up take out orders, no one else came to dine in. There are a few tables though and I suggest dining in at least once a - we were able to meet the chef/owner and he was such a nice guy. Really seemed to care about each plate that came out. I can’t wait to visit my family again and enjoy some good food and conversation here!“

I on the other hand feel like this place was amazing, I was last minute on a budget celebrating my son's 5th birthday, took him and his friends to jump around, they had an amazing time but you can tell we were all starving, I first had seen another pizza place but somehow someway, fait pull me towards this pizza place....best decision of my life, I called to ask if there was space for 8, right away they said yes, we come in starving we ask for what the gentleman suggested.....the meat lovers, I said ok, sounds great, then he said what other would you like, and I didn't know their. Motto is buy one get one free....ooohhh, so I ordered the Hawaiian pizza to put them to the rest..... Nooooo Maaaanches!!!! Amazing!!!! We had ordered two XL pizzas y todas se acabo, 4 kids, 4 Adults, extremely happy.....I suggest you eat it fresh there.....they definitely have their touch, my son was the happiest ever!!! “We had a great breakfast at Aunt Emma's Pancakes this morning! The place has a nice, casual vibe and the service was friendly and efficient.
I ordered the Eggs with Chorizo and my wife got the Spinach and Mushroom Omelet. Both dishes were delicious and full of flavor. The chorizo was perfectly seasoned and spicy, mixed beautifully with the eggs. The omelet was fluffy, packed with fresh spinach and mushrooms that gave it a really nice touch. The portions were generous and everything came hot and fresh. Highly recommended!“

“I first met Mario, the owner, when he was selling pizza outside the brewery I worked at many, many years ago. Followed him as he helped open The Friendly up the block, and finally I'm stoked he's brought his talent to Chula Vista, my hometown. The burgers are my favorite, consistent and great, my wife and I always share a side of fires, and they're fresh and plenty for two to share. Crispy and juicy burgers with fresh vegetables and made how you ask. The chopped beef sandwich is super good, and the pizza is true to its NY style. All affordable, all legit.“

“Usually love this place. $17+ for a hefty poke bowl that's usually made with good vibes. However! Be warned. Ken is not the one you want. Could barely hear him, could hear his sighs though. Went there on 3/22 and he made the saddest bowl ever. Barely any protein, sauce, or toppings. Was so disappointing. Will go again but avoid him, lol. “The lady at the register was on the phone and ignored us we came in. No greeting or anything. Then the other waitress saw us and told us to sit wherever we want. So we sat ourselves. The waitress was nice. She took our orders. We had a combination of lasagna and spaghetti, margherita pizza, and philly cheesesteak. We also ordered fettuccine alfredo and pepperoni pizza for to go.
The only thing I didn’t like much was the philly cheesesteak. The steak has a different taste and not much of grilled bell peppers and onions. I asked the waitress for pepperoncini on the side.
Four stars for everything and one star left for improvement.“
