“I'm giving it 4 stars because lately, the tortillas taste OLD. Before the tacos were soft, not chewy. The tostadas were breakable and crunchy. Lately, they are not that breakable and crunchy. The service is excellent!

Wheelchair accessibility: They have both low tables with removable chairs and pub tables with stools. For a wheelchair or walker with a seat, you can just remove a chain.“

“Found this restaurant based off of an IG suggestion. Cute spot with a psuedo Bridgerton theme. I hope you like pink cause it hits you in the face! The restaurant almost seems a little out of place in the shopping center it's located in.

They don't take reservations and we had to wait about an hour. Inside is small so you can see why there is a wait.

However, the staff were very attention and offered great service. We shared the birriaquiles and the French toast. Both were great, I just wish the barriaquilles had crispy tortilla chips mixed in vs all wet chips.

My friend and I had the strawberry mimosas which didn't look like the presentation online, but were still good.

All of the plates served around us looked good, so I'd definitely eat here again.“

“Tried the Ribeye fries for the first time here. Perfectly cooked and seasoned with high quality meat! The fries are thick and crispy, steak was seasoned perfectly and the chimichuri sauce really added amazing flavor to the plate.
Now to the salsa bar - everything is organized and clean. Loved all 3 types of salsa. The pickled onions are crunchy and a bit sour (for my personal taste but overall very good)
They also give you a side thing of grilled jalapeno (spicy) and onions - they're so addicting.
The horachata is another plus for the place - made very fresh and soo flavorful.
On top of all, the customer service is amazing - very friendly and welcoming. Will return for sure with other family members!“

“This gem of a truck has the best surf and turf burritos in San Diego. The meat is juicy and tender + the combo of shrimp and chipotle sauce is amazing. I squeeze lime into every bite with their salsa habanera (it is HOT but delicious!). This place is easy to miss it as it is located in front of Pick Your Part but I look forward to coming back to eat.“

“The Restaurant was called El Rinconcito, under new owner. We stopped here after a visit to Sesame Street Place, hoping to have some authentic Mexican food. We were not disappointed! Oh my, this place tastes like your authentic San Diego style Mexican food! Amazing meat, topped with some delicious flavorful salsas. I will definitely be back during our next vacation in town!“

“The birria is so good! I’ve tried several places in Imperial Valley, San Diego and Chula Vista and this is the best birria I’ve had. The only bad thing about this place is that they do not have a changing table for babies, so I had to change my baby on the floor.

Parking: There is only two parking spaces. You have to park on the street.“

Any efficiency study will tell you that 1 line and sending out the order to the crew will be faster every time. It was almost like watching 6 separate kitchens work again one another. Out of all the Mexican spots here in San Diego, This place has been the most consistent With the quality, flavors, and service. On Mondays they have $1.99 fish tacos, which were the best fish tacos I’ve had that weren’t on the street, and on Tuesdays they have chicken and/or pork tacos for $1.99 and they come packed to the brim with guac and meat. Their staff is also very friendly. Overall, great food and atmosphere for low prices for an indoor restaurant.

“Unbelievably Delish or Da Bomb. I believe this place has The Best Birria in San Diego. It's all about the juice or consumé. The meat is very tender but the consumé is another level. My hats off to the cook.
Being inside the Chula Vista Brewery in Eastlake is great if you want a Beer with your meal.

“The quality of these businesses is common knowledge. But I give it 4 stars because regularly at night they only have two employees and sometimes one is an apprentice. The issue here is that at night the service is slow at the drive thru, they have drive thru customers until after midnight and very early in the morning, sometimes there is a line of up to seven or eight cars and the wait is long. .....it's not the fault of two employees, there are only two at that time and sometimes one is an apprentice, I think they need one more employee at night for faster service.“
