“I frequent this taqueria at least every other week; if I could, I would daily. The food is always incredible, you can't go wrong with the taco de adobada or torta adobada. The staff are incredibly kind and attentive. One time they noticed I got shorted a taco before I did and gave me an additional taco. I didn't even ask for that, they were just nice. The music is always a vibe when you choose to dine in. Definitely a 10/10 experience every time.“

“I want to give this restaurant a 5 star review but I'm not. There is a young lady that works there and has a horrible attitude/customer service. I've been going to this restaurant for over 10 years and they ate great. The food is delicious. But when she is working her shift she brings my experience down. Today I asked her if I had done something to offend her? Why is she so rude to me? I treat her with kindness and respect and she ALWAYS greets me with discomfort. Like I'm not welcome. She told me she's on her period. My response was that she must ALWAYS be on her period cause she's ALWAYS so rude to me. She didn't like my response and looked at me up and down and gave me a cold long silent stare down. And I expected that coming from her. She had to to he a family member cause she doesn't care about her job. So this msg is also to the owner. Teach her some kindness/customer service because she is giving your business a bad name as a representative.“

“I been following Chris and his dad before they got this taco truck for a few years now, glad to see them still going strong. They have some bomb tijuana style tacos. I like to get the asada and adobada tacos. My friend is obsessed with their asada papa loca (baked potato). I haven't tried it but I will order that next time. Don't forget the habanero onions and the chiles/cebollas toreados, So good! P.s. Check their Instagram to see when they are open because sometimes they do special events and I've shown up and they are not here because I forgot to check if they were there.“

Extra lime, sauce (actually spicy which I love), carmelized onions, and pickled carrot without asking also which is super generous and you can tell they want you to adore your meal, which I 100% did. “The Birria tacos and horchata are always great, and the staff is always very friendly and professional. Very tender and juicy tacos, very flavorful and always delicious. The sodas are very good as well.“

“Three people were ahead of me. It was around 8pm.

One drove from El Cajon to get a bunch of breakfast plates and breakfast burritos. Another from downtown to get burritos and chicken tacos which they said is the best chicken taco in San Diego. The third drove from Mission Valley to get their Jumbo Burger and tacos.

People either love or hate the rolled tacos here. I think they're the best in San Diego. They don't throw a ton of shredded lettuce, they don't get soggy, and the beef I hear is carnitas. The mixture of sour cream, shredded chedder cheese, their guacamole and hot sauce is incredible on top of their rolled taco. I haven't encountered any other rolled taco like it. If they bottled their hot sauce I'd buy it.

Try their carne asada fries they use huge thicker steak fries.

My favorite item is the adobada taco, tho they don't put as much guacamole as before. I got a fish taco and looks like they don't put tartar sauce in it anymore. Hopefully they just forgot.

For a lot of people this is their absolute favorite taco shop in the land and drive miles for it.

“Don Pedro Taco Shop is one of my favorite spots for authentic Mexican food! Everything tastes homemade, flavorful, and fresh, and they have a great selection of traditional dishes.

Their pozole is absolutely delicious — rich, comforting, and packed with flavor. But my personal favorite is the Flying Saucer! It’s one of those things I keep coming back for and never get tired of.

“San diego has a great food truck. After the rodeo, it hit perfectly. 2 regular tacos de asada and al pastor with 1 of tripas. Bomb. Came all hooked up, salsa, onions, cilantro guacamole, delicious. Tripas was reqlly good as well but I prefer them crunchy.
The quesa tacos were bomb also. There was al pastor fries and and birria tacos. I will definitely go back. The pricing was a bit much but it was worth it.
Parking is not the best, so get there early.

“My wife and I stopped to eat here for the first time. She ordered the chicken flautas and I ordered the combo that comes with one beef taco, one potato taco, a mini carne asada burrito and fries. The mini burrito was not that mini, it was delicious. The carne asada meat was soft but cooked well and easy to bite through, it was mixed pefectly mixed with onion and tomato not like other burritos you get a bite full of of just one ingredient. The beef taco was also cooked perfectly with the salsa I added was a satisfying bite. The potato taco was not over salted, with another perfect taco and i am a little bit picky of potato tacos. The fries were as good as your going to get at a Mexican restaurant. My wife gave me a bite of her chicken flauta and it was one of the best ive eaten here in san diego. Some flautas the tortilla is overcooked and just fall apart and the meat is ok. Not this place. Overall the meats were seasoned and cooked perfectly for a satisfying meal/meals. As both i and my wife shared food and got a good taste we will definitely come back again and try other meals.“

“I walked into the shop, and was immediately greeted before arriving at the counter. The shop owner was patient, as I decided what to order.

In the back of the kitchen, I saw the chef's making the order. Everything looked that they cook all the food fresh. I smelled the great aroma, and saw the steam from the back of the shop.

This is a small shop, but they have bench seats and regular stools as well for sitting. They also have a small sauce bar for your order.This is a cozy shop, and the prices are fair. They are equivalent too other taco shops I've visited as well.

“I was visiting San Diego from Michigan where there are no Jack-in-the-box in my area, but I was raised in San Diego so I have been there before. The food was okay. I ordered a sourdough cheeseburger and my son ordered a breakfast burrito. Unfortunately, the food sent me to the bathroom rather quickly.“
