“We had the most delightful man on the intercom box, taking our order. Not only did he confirm that we got the order correct? But when we got up to the window, he was all smiles and extremely nice. His customer service was above and beyond. I'm only sad that I did not catch his name. So That I could put him in this review.
The fries we're the best fries i've ever had From jack in the box, and I can tell you, I have had thousands of orders of jack in the box fries. They literally were hot and fresh, and i'm not sure if it was that I was hungry or that they truly were the best prize i've had at any jack in the box. Kudos my friends.“

“Very good california burrito, I just recommend adding guacamole, as it comes with just the carne, potatoes and cheese as it is. The meat had such a nice char on it and was seasoned nicely. They don’t skimp out. The fries were crispy too.

The cabeza, adobada, and birria tacos were all cooked perfectly and the salsas were on point too. Lastly, the carne asada in their California burrito couldn’t have been better. The service was also as friendly as can be, making sure we got everything you need. I think we found our new regular spot. Oh and they might have the best Jamaica.“

“As a local, among all the taco places I tried in San Diego, I’m certain that this place is the best. Don’t want to compare specifically here with other famous taco places in SD, but this place is the most similar to tacos I tried in Mexico. The tacos were made with extremely fresh ingredients and they were super tasty. Service is also very good! FYI, I went there in a perfect time like 4pm and there was so wait, but I saw the line was getting long when we existed around 5pm. Controversially, I personally have thought SD does not actually that many good taquerias (I think LA is much better) but I’m glad I finally found a very good one here“

Ordered the chicken tacos (on flour tortillas)....delicious! They also offer complimentary self serve condiments: cucumbers, radishes, peppers & limes.

It can get super busy especially following a major event like a baseball game but the service is fast.

FYI...prices are high for street tacos but it’s in a busy tourist area. Recommend ordering a full meal (beans rice) if you’re really hungry as street tacos are smaller than regular size tacos.“

“Grew up down the street from this place in the early/mid 90s and it was my family's favorite spot. I still stop here every time im in town and it's still as excellent as it's always been and hasn't lost an ounce of its spark - the food is excellent and has always been consistent.“

The burrito itself was huge. Each bite was clean, a little bit of everything. The fries had a distinct crisp, the meat was tender and not chewy, the guac was good, both sauces were excellent, and it was seasoned well but not overly salty.

Plenty of indoor seating and the TV wasn’t insanely loud (pet peeve of mine!). Parking was straightforward but I can see it being tough during a lunch rush in this small lot.“

“It’s been a while since I’ve been here. Me and my buddy came here and wanted to try a lot of food. We started off surf n turf burrito which was spectacular. They ask you if you want Mexican guac ( pure avocado ) or American guac ( avocado & sour cream mixed ). The shrimp is marinated and the asada is fresh and tasty ! Then we shared the hot Cheeto carne asada fries. After that we each shared a half of carne asada torta ! Very delicious. Last item was a carne asada quesadilla supreme which was loaded ! We sat outside and enjoy the beautiful weather. Our cashier was helpful in telling us what to order. Definitely coming back here“

“I stop here every time I’m in this side of my neighborhood. Take the 15 freeway and Exit El Cajon Blvd, go East a few blocks but don’t pass Menlo Ave. Look for Fish and Birria signs waving. They have the whole parking lot just drive in! I usually have two or three Fish tacos (w/o crema) and a pop then they usually know when I’m done because my to-go order is hot and ready!! My grandson is very picky but he looks forward to their Carne Asada Quesa taco’s. I’ve tried a lot off their menu and have never been disappointed, ever. They also GIVE you a “Consommé” which is actually a small portion of their seafood soup not just the fluid, I’ve had whole shrimp in mine many times and small pieces of fish. They’re not stingy with their variety of hot salsas/chili pods and garnishes (limes, cilantro, onions and pickled onions. Lots of ice cold canned and bottled drinks to choose from. This is my only food truck I trust 100% and love their quality of cooking. You’ll agree too once you try them out!“

“This is really a four star spot but I'm not going to mess with their rating. Came here to try a breakfast 🌯 burrito , to test my ongoing hypothesis that you can get an amazing breakfast burrito literally anywhere. Like many taco shops in so cal El Rodeo ain't much to look at, it has no bathroom so don't ask, I had to wear my jacket inside because they don't have heat etc.

Breakfast burrito with a drink was like something like 17/18 bucks. Burrito was huge, of course, something I've learned at these places is only eat half the burrito just because I don't need that much food for breakfast/brunch. The ingredients were pretty standard in terms of the flour tortilla, potatoes 🥔, which were cubes not hash browns, actual egg, cheese and plenty of bacon. The hot sauce was pretty good. It was very warm and I could tell that everything was freshly cooked. The bacon was great.“
