“Classic San Diego taco shop with the same quality and good service for over 20+ years. My favorite is the pollo asado burrito (no pico) but their TJ tacos and menudo are great too. Haven't been disappointed with this place ever. Please visit when you can!“

Chile Rellenos combination includes 2 fried, egg battered, cheese-stuffed poblano peppers and includes beans & rice. Lastly, there's the chicken salad. Hold on, hear me out... It's loaded with lettuce, diced red onion, sunflower seeds, a surprisingly generous amount of grilled chicken AND avocado, topped with grated cheddar cheese, and comes with both ranch dressing and a very tasty green color Caesar dressing! It's made fresh when you order and the portions are generous too.“

“Very good california burrito, I just recommend adding guacamole, as it comes with just the carne, potatoes and cheese as it is. The meat had such a nice char on it and was seasoned nicely. They don’t skimp out. The fries were crispy too.

“Have driven by this truck a thousand times but never stopped by until tonight, and we were so happy we did! We’ve been sleeping on this place for way too long. The cabeza, adobada, and birria tacos were all cooked perfectly and the salsas were on point too. Lastly, the carne asada in their California burrito couldn’t have been better. The service was also as friendly as can be, making sure we got everything you need. I think we found our new regular spot. Oh and they might have the best Jamaica.“

They also serve carne asada fries and mar y tierra fries, which are a must-try when you order.I can personally say it does get packed, food will take time to perfect but it’s fine . “Great local place for some Mexican food. There is plentiful parking, a small indoor eating area and a small shaded outdoor area.
Large menu to choose from. I had the rolled tacos and the fish taco, both delicious! Particularly loved their salsas - both the red and the green and distinctive and delicious.
Service can be hit or miss at taco stands - in this case, the guy at the counter was chill and friendly and paid careful attention to my requests. Really impressed!

“I stop here every time I’m in this side of my neighborhood. Take the 15 freeway and Exit El Cajon Blvd, go East a few blocks but don’t pass Menlo Ave. Look for Fish and Birria signs waving. They have the whole parking lot just drive in! I usually have two or three Fish tacos (w/o crema) and a pop then they usually know when I’m done because my to-go order is hot and ready!! My grandson is very picky but he looks forward to their Carne Asada Quesa taco’s. I’ve tried a lot off their menu and have never been disappointed, ever. They also GIVE you a “Consommé” which is actually a small portion of their seafood soup not just the fluid, I’ve had whole shrimp in mine many times and small pieces of fish. They’re not stingy with their variety of hot salsas/chili pods and garnishes (limes, cilantro, onions and pickled onions. Lots of ice cold canned and bottled drinks to choose from. This is my only food truck I trust 100% and love their quality of cooking. You’ll agree too once you try them out!“

Got the Pastor and asado and they asked if I wanted beans with it which was not something I typically get offered, but I did try it and it was a tasty addition.
