Awesome little taco shop with excellent food and fast, friendly service. Nice simple menu, house made aguas frescas, and house made salsas are a great touch. I really like the adobadas (pastor) tacos with everything on them. They have Taco Tuesdays too!
Food is phenomenal. The owner super nice gentlemen. Goes above and beyond. Glad it’s here in gaslamp
First off, when I walked in the door, the atmosphere immediately put me in a better mood. Before I ordered, I got to talking with who I presume was the owner, and he was super nice! We talked about Mexican food, and what he had planned for the restaurant; my partner and I felt welcomed. Second, the food is VERY good. My partner had the chilaquiles, and I had a bean and cheese burrito and a vegetarian potato taco. We will be back!

Frida’s Taqueria Express is a awesome little taco shop with excellent food and fast friendly service. The nice simple menu has house made aguas frescas and house made salsas as a great touch. The atmosphere immediately puts a better mood. The staff is super nice, very kind and gave great recommendations. Popular food include adobadas (pastor) tacos, adobada vampiro, asada tacos, chicken tacos, surf n turf taco, fish tacos, birria, chilaquiles, bean and cheese burrito and vegetarian potato taco. The tacos are one of the best tacos and super yummy. Service is quick and food came out quick. Taco Tuesdays are. None of the tacos came with salsa. The birria is very good and the salsas are house made and artistic. The restaurant is recommended to friends and looked forward to coming again.
