On our last night we wanted a relaxed Mexican meal so headed to La Puerto at 560 Fourth Avenue.On arrival we were offered the worst table in the place. Great food, observant and prompt service, well-mixed cocktails, and convenient location (for conference goers). What more could you ask for? The tacos are generous with tender and flavorful meat, held together by tortillas that hold their shape and withstand the structural challenge of their contents. Stopped here for a drink and I ended up ordering a burrito. Which was good but pricy. Most annoyingly anything you wanted to add was an extra fee like rice, black beans and soo on. Not sure I'll come back.
