Great Mexican food at a neighborhood mini mall and it's reasonably priced and delicious!
The carne asada is good, the beans are hearty, the rice is flavorful, and the rolled tacos are crispy. However, the guacamole was unmistakably oxidized, and its runny texture meant it ruined the flavor of whatever it touched. Hopefully it was just a bad day and they aren't regularly blending old, brown avocado into their guac.
It's been 15 years since we traveled to San Diego and had El Azteca - it is still as good as I remembered. Must have!
