“I stumbled across this place on accident. And I’m very glad I did. Very unassuming at first on the outside. The interior and lay out is very cool and dynamic. They really do capture a more industrial bier garden than most in SD county. The quality of the beer was memorable as well. The taste, smell, and color were all incredibly fantastic. “1st time trying this restaurant. It was highly recommended by my son and daughter in law and it did not dissappear. I ordered the Tampequena plate and it was a unique and well presented plate. The steak was tender and perfectly prepared and the enchilada and potatoes complemented the entire plate. Loved the atmosphere and the pitcher of margs was natural tasting.“

“Every time we’ve gone, the food is good. They also have a good choice of craft beers on hand rotating. The service can be either really good or really bad. They have forgotten about us and left us waiting for a check for 40 minutes. I ordered a hamburger with two slices of cheese, when they served it the hamburger only had one slice. I asked the waitress if she could just take it back and add another slice of cheese. I am more than happy to pay for it. She blew a huffing sound, shrugged her shoulders and rolled her eyes and said whatever and walked away with the plate. When she brought it back, she sat the plate down and said, “Do you have enough cheese now”. My wife and I have actually enjoyed going to this place, but that waitress has turned me off for a while for sure.“

“We went to Anthony’s for late lunch/early dinner. The food and drinks were great but nothing compared to the service and experience that our servers provided. Exceptional! 20/10! Gina, GiGi and Shawna were just superb. We had 4 kids ages 5-9 amongst both couples and they absolutely made this dining experience so fun for our kids. Gigi took the kids to feed the ducks, the turtles and was talking to them for half of our dinner. This is a little gem of a spot with just the best service!“

“First time here and not disappointed. Didn't have a long wait like others said. The doma was excellent. I got the combo to try their meats - beef kabob, chicken Tikka, and beef shawarma. All were seasoned well, especially the shawarma...very bold. But it's the cook on the meat that set them apart! All 3 were tender, juicy, and savory. Too many overcook these but they just melted in my mouth. Highly recommended.“

There are several pool tables and the Padre game was on the biggest screen. We'll be going back.“

“I live in New York and they have Best tortas and strawberry and cream cup on west coast. Whenever I come out from East coast this is my spot. Employee's are great. If ever in area you need to try. I love everything on menu I come daily for fresh squeezed juice and they have any combination of juices not on menu. They are best . Fruity Loco is my number # 1 smoothie spot in country.“

“IDEN WAS GREAT!
My husband and I rolled into Olive Garden on a Friday night with what can only be described as hungry eyes and zero self-control. Luckily, we had Iden as our server. Not only was he on top of every refill, he also kept us laughing the entire time. The guy is kind, sharp, and effortlessly funny. You can just tell he's one of the good ones, out here working his way through college. Iden set the bar ridiculously high and went the extra mile to make our meal extra special.
Thanks for the entertainment, great service and the good laughs. We'll be back sooner than eight years!
