“This place is always packed, which I would say is the only downside to this place, but I'm so happy I finally tried it because that sandwich is AMAZING. First, I was blown away at the size, the picture doesn't do it justice, it was at least a pound of sandwich. And all the ingredients were so fresh, the bacon was really crispy, which I appreciate, I hate when bacon is chewy. Overall, it was soooo good. The coffe was good too, not my favorite but I can definitely see why people like the flavor so much. Looking forward to trying other things here!“
“This place has been a favorite of my wife and her family - and now all of us - for half a century! She is addicted to their deep-fried burritos (simple but tasty little gut bombs they are) and the peanut butter fudge shake I created for her. (I'm also partial to the banana fudge shake, but all the ice cream goodies here are luscious!) My mother adores their strawberry sundaes and shakes. Foster's may play havoc with your calories, but sometimes that's the cost of happy.“
“The tri-tip sandwich was good but not as lean or as large as I would hope. The onion rings were good but most were not the crispy bite I prefer. John at the bar was friendly, putting up with my banal conversation. I sat at the bar because apparently it's the only place a human can take your order. You must log in with your smartphone at any table. Payment was also thru the smartphone, which I had never done before. Is this all an attempt to keep staffing levels as low as possible?“
“The bartender and employees working there are nice and respectful. They wanted me to feel like I'm welcome there. One employee even asked if I wanted to play pool cause the pool table was free that night. Will definitely be my bar from now on.Parking: Late at night, you can park in the restaurant parking lot across the street. There are only a few parking spaces in the front.“
“Located in a run-down strip mall next to a thrift store. No AC Hole in the wall family owened entie family works here. Place is a little rundown. Definitely made for the blue collar. Hard-shelled Shreded beef tacos were extra crispy, flavorful will definitely return when I am in the area. Love “
“We were driving by and we noticed a small coffee kiosk in the parking lot of Valley Farm Market. We stopped by and found great coffee and great avocado toast. Mason waited on us and was extremely helpful and friendly. I love that they have a sitting area with shade. The coffee was great. We will be back to try their Autumn drinks!“
“I have lived in East County my entire life. I am always looking for something 'different', something that stands out from the rest, a hidden gem, if you will. I had heard of Steele 94 many times and heard great things about it. I/ we finally went out to try it. I was in love with the place the second we walked in the door. It had a great feel to it and it was very welcoming. Speaking of welcoming, the owner Miguel greeted us and we were sold! We had breakfast as it is my favorite meal of the day and we were not disappointed. We enjoyed our time there so much, we returned for dinner. Once we got out of the car we were hit by the intoxicating aroma of the outdoor grill. Guess who was manning the grill, that's right- Miguel! We had a tremendous dinner and a great evening. I do believe I have found that hidden gem I have been looking for. We will be back, and very soon!“
“It was great customer service and friendly service I went with my family of 5 and food was amazing tasty ? and the restaurant was clean and specious for events if needed! The lady who helped us get seated was wonderful thank you so much for the hospitality. I recommend it to everyone!“
“The food is freshly prepared and not like typical Filipino cantinas where you point at the food, which has been out for awhile. Their bowls have the right amount of rice, meat and veggies. Well balanced meal and not greasy. Highly recommended for a modern feel of traditional Filipino food. We need to make Filipino food match the modern times. So happy too that it's near my home and not all the way in Clairemont or Mira Mesa.Parking: No problem with parking even during a rainy day.“
“Holiday & looking for pizza. Called around & found Milo's opened. Friendly staff, reasonable pricesWe are from the East Coast so pizza in CA, has a lot to be desired. We like thin crispy crust, with sauce & cheese to end. They had good tasting sauce, & didnt overload on cheese“
“Amazing Boba place! Their drinks are quality here. We got the Matcha tea latte, and the strawberry lemonade with mango stars and they were both so delicious and refreshing! There is a small parking lot and parking is not an issue. We found parking right away. Customer Service was great! Definitely will be coming back here to enjoy and try the rest of their drink items. I definitely will get the strawberry lemonade again it was so yummy!“
“Thank you to the young lady who made my Turkey Torta and Honeydew Melon smoothie. It was freaking delicious!!! I will return soon. To all who says their tortas are mediocre, hmmm do you have taste buds. Bread and veggies were fresh as hell and the Turkey. Honeydew with chia seeds very refreshing! Thank you again“
“We live across the street and haven’t stopped here before because we were stuck on another pizza place since we bought our home four years ago. Somebody recommended this place so I thought I’d give it a try. My whole family LOVED the pizza and The employees were incredibly nice.I’m happy to say we have a new place to get great Pizza! Our other pizza place is about 20 minutes further and my children five and three years old are picky.Thank you for the wonderful food and the excellent service!!“
