“Guanatos 2 Mexican is the kind of spot you almost don’t want to review… because once everyone figures it out, you’re going to have to wait for a table.

This place was amazing. Period.

The fish tacos and shrimp tacos were absolute studs. Fresh, perfectly seasoned, loaded with flavor, and zero filler. Just straight up legit tacos. And the value? Wild. You leave full, happy, and wondering how it didn’t cost twice as much.

The shrimp ceviche tostada was a knockout. Bright, citrusy, piled high, and dangerously easy to demolish. “We’ll share it,” we said. Sure we did.

And big shout out to Juan, our server, who was phenomenal. Friendly, attentive, on top of everything without hovering. The kind of service that makes the whole experience even better.

Guanatos 2 is authentic, affordable, and flat out delicious. No gimmicks. Just great food and great people. We’ll absolutely be back.“

“The birria tacos were delicious. The drinks were way of a priced. They had a DJ that had really good music and then they had karaoke but it was so loud you couldn't talk to the person across from you. Every time we needed something from the waitress we had to wave her down to come to the table. She was very nice but service was not so good.“

We already loved their food but we ended up not getting the tacos we bought for taco Tuesday made correctly... I ended up on the phone with Miguel who immediately offered to remake them as I explained my son's allergies with tomatoes.. I let him know we had taken an Uber down to them so it would have to be later.. he offered to bring them to us.. that was beyond kind of him and by far surpasses any other customer service I have ever received.. “First time here. I came in tonight because I was referred here by a customer of mine. He said they have the best salsas. We tried a fish taco which was on special today for $2. Definitely worth it was not skimpy and taste great.
We also ordered 3 roller tacos and a carne asada burrito. Rolled tacos were good but the carne asada burrito was AMAZING. Best I’ve had in a really long time. I will definitely be back specifically for that. So flavorful and juicy. The girl that took my order was very nice also. All do that for $24 which was not bad at all.“

“Went in on a Thursday afternoon around 6:30, met up with another couple there and their 6 year old son. It was rather empty. Only 3 tables were occupied. Service was great, food was fresh and delicious. Pricing is as expected. Not cheap but not downtown. I ordered wine and the glass was only $7. So not bad at all. The cucarachas were some of the best I've had! Did not disappoint.“

As a vegan, our server worked with the chef to see what they could make modifications to and their recommendations did not disappoint! “We went to Anthony’s for late lunch/early dinner. The food and drinks were great but nothing compared to the service and experience that our servers provided. Exceptional! 20/10! Gina, GiGi and Shawna were just superb. We had 4 kids ages 5-9 amongst both couples and they absolutely made this dining experience so fun for our kids. Gigi took the kids to feed the ducks, the turtles and was talking to them for half of our dinner. This is a little gem of a spot with just the best service!“

“We have been HUGE a huge fan of a local crawfish restaurant for as long as they have been open, and have gone frequently over the years. Recently we have been looking to try some of the other crawfish places around. Not only did the Boxing Crab have flavorful sauces to choose from, top quality freshness, the best cooked crawfish we have had in a restaurant, (even better than our regular spot), and their service was wonderful! We now have a new GoTo! We will recommend them again and again!“

“One of the best restaurants I’ve been to! We loved everything we tried on the menu, and were sad to hear it’s being discontinued for a new spring menu—especially the filet mignon, which was incredibly tasty.
They put a lot of care into their dishes, which really matters to me. Everything feels thoughtfully prepared— like home-cooked food, but elevated to another level. Portions are on the smaller side, but the quality makes up for it.

“Amazing seafood spot! The vibe was upbeat with great music and even a live performer. Service was top-notch—the owner came by our table, which made the experience feel really personal.

The food was absolutely worth it. Generous portions, flavorful boil, and a great margarita. My husband loved his shrimp po’ boy and garlic fries too.

It was busy when we went (Friday night), so just be prepared—but it’s definitely worth it. We’ll be back!“

Not only because it’s family run from San Diego it because the food is just so fantastic. I highly recommend the shrimp cocktail. Parking can be iffy so just drive around the neighborhood until you can find something. It’s worth it.“

“Crab Pub is the best! I’ve spent years going to Crab Hut but it’s been getting so expensive. I found Crab Pub literally a few days after they opened and been going ever since. I recommend then to everyone. You won’t be disappointed. Only thing they don’t have is corn bread but it’s ok!“

“This place is amazing. Had the fish tacos and shrimp tacos both were deep fried and delicious. Hubby had the aguachile bontanas and it was so fresh and filling. Fresh made tortillas for the tacos and tostadas. Also had the clamato which quenched my thirst.
I was also completely endeared to the fact that it was an elderly gentleman cooking and seemed to have a speech impediment. The time it took to cook the food was well worth the wait“

“My family of three stayed here for a Mother’s Day weekend staycation and had such a wonderful experience. The service and food were both excellent. I unfortunately forgot the name of the staff member who took care of us, but he was absolutely phenomenal, so attentive and thoughtful, especially with our 10 month old.

When our son’s rigatoni came out fresh and too hot to eat, including the plate itself, he kindly brought over a to go container so it could cool down safely. He also kept my Arnold Palmer refilled without me ever having to ask. Those small touches really stood out and made the experience feel extra special.

Highly recommend the PEI mussels and the seafood pasta. We will definitely be back!“
