“Been coming to Coronado for decades and we are over-the-moon with our first experience at Jolie... this is exactly the type of restaurant that has been missing from Coronado's food scene for so long. One usually has to go into San Diego proper to find this type of exquisite fare. Not any more! To complement the tantalizing food and beverage experience, the background music playlist was perfectly curated and at the perfect volume to set the mood but never overpower conversations. We sincerely hope the local and tourist crowds keep Jolie thriving in Coronado! Way to go, kitchen and front-of-house!P.S. the parker house rolls are heavenly“
“Best place I have been to in years, and I eat out at least 4 times a week. Amazing food and best service! Eloquent and trendy decor but no stuffy white table cloths. I usually cringe at the meet presentation but don't at this one. Wine selection was very very impressive, 77 pages and something for everyone!!! So good, I am going back tomorrow night.“
“Wow!! Incredible. The best lobster roll I’ve ever had, the lobster was excellently seasoned and the roll melted in your mouth. I love the beans and coleslaw as well. Good pairing! The server Seth was so kind and made the experience so great. Also, love the lobster bisque and clam chowder.“
“I recommend the Sand Dabs and Trout Amandine for the best value for your money. They are delicious and satisfy a hungry appetite. If you order the cioppino, depending on the day, you may have to order something else or ask for more bread. Overall, great ambience, service and food. Also Jim, the manager, is customer focused and wants to ensure every patron is happy with their experience.“
“The clam chowder was good, as was the gemelli (twisted noodle) seafood pasta in basil cream sauce (a solid 4/5). Maybe it needed a little more fish and sauce on the noodles. The halibut was cooked well, but the Nawlins seasoning was too forced. I was hoping for sea bass, but I didn’t see it on the menu the day we were there. Our server was terrific. Make reservations for 5:15 if you want a guaranteed window seat inside overlooking the boats. Take your time before dinner and enjoy oyster shots or oysters Rockefeller if you prefer them cooked.“
“We had dinner and brunch the next day. Everything was perfect. Our waiter was attentive and was helpful with the menu. We had a great time. I ordered the octopus to share and the scallops. The scallops were perfectly cooked and came with delicious gnocchi. She ordered the steak with blue crab topping. Also perfect! We had to take a bit home. I ordered the turnover for desert to share. I really enjoyed the turnover. The brunch had just about everything you could want (They don't have crab legs).I do miss the old Hotel Del Coronado brunch they used to have. That brunch has been shut down since COVID.“
“A delicious fish taco for on-the-go when I am crossing the Coronado bridge heading home! Economically priced, flavorful and perfect for one-handed dining (smile). I prefer the standard fish option vice the various shrimp and "protein-of-the-month" offerings.“
“Our experience at Crown Landing for dinner was top notch. The service was excellent and all employees were so kind and friendly. We enjoyed the excellent Coronado Clam Chowder (it has jalapeños but not enough to create heat), beatifully presented Roasted Beet Salad, and bread to begin with. For our entrees, we chose the scallops and short rib stroganoff. The seared scallops were served on some asparagus with some pancetta and potato puree. It was about as good as scallops get. The stroganoff was so savory. It was shredded short rib beef served on chewy housemade casarecce pasta with a dollop of sour cream, and mushrooms and pearl onions. Probably the best I've had. We highly recommend this restaurant at least once, especially during a stay at the Loew's Coronado resort.“
“Nice poke cafe along Coronado's main street. Plenty of options, as well as building your own. Bowls can be filled high enough that mixing becomes a challenge if that's your preference.Ordered the spicy tuna bowl and a Thai iced tea. The poke was good, though the tea did not have enough condensed milk.“
“The portions are very good,> the delicious al DENTE pasta... I remember when I went to Italy, very original...> The squid is very delicious and the sauce is an excellent combination.> Delicious and fresh tiramisu dessert not too sweet..> Everything delicious and XtraVegetarian options: The variety of salads and soups are very good.Parking: It's very safeKid-friendliness: In the outside area, comfortable seats for themWheelchair accessibility: Spacious“
“My husband and I had a great dinner at Brigantine. Our server, Fernando, was really kind and helpful with recommendations - along with suggestions on places to visit while in San Diego. All of the food that we ordered was great. The jumbo crab cake was our all time favorite! We also had the grilled oysters, the chopped chicken salad, and the blackened swordfish. Everything was fantastic!“
“We came here to celebrate a special occasion and were not disappointed. Our waitress was so accommodating and made wonderful recommendations. The presentation of our appetizer and meal were perfect and delicious! Love coming to this establishment and will definitely recommend it to all who are looking for a wonderful dining experience with an amazing view!“
“Beautiful location. Very spacious. Outdoor dining on a chilly March evening was just fine due to the heat lamps, which lent to the ambiance. The kampachi appetizer was delicious. Dirty martini and old fashioned were expertly made. Salmon has a nice crispy skin and beurre blanc sauce was decadent. Recommend for families, couples, friends, etc - everyone is made welcome. Service was impeccable and witty as well. Thank you, Paul!“
