“Eddie V’s in La Jolla is truly a jewel of San Diego. This was the kind of classic, next-level dining experience that feels increasingly hard to find, beautiful atmosphere, exquisite food, and service that makes the entire evening feel special.

Our server, Kara, and her assistant, Wallace, were exceptional. Together, they brought warmth, professionalism, and thoughtful attention to our table, making us feel genuinely cared for throughout the evening.

The food was exquisite: tableside tartare, sea bass, ribeye, yellowtail sashimi, crab cake, and oysters. Every dish gave us something to savor, and the tableside preparation added another layer of pleasure to the experience.

Having spent more than 30 years in hospitality, I appreciate how much care goes into making an evening feel this seamless. Kara and Wallace deserve special recognition. This wasn’t simply a wonderful dinner, it was a reminder of how memorable fine dining can be.“

“Myself and my 7 and 9 year old girls come here with me or the babysitter every two weeks. We can't find lobster or crab better anywhere else in San Diego even fancy restaurants across the street.

The manager Neo always takes great care of us. Ashley is always really super sweet here too.

We get the Boss size lobster and crab rolls and anytime of year. We don't know how they are always so good in all seasons!“

“An absolutely amazing dining experience! Went at high tide (not King Tide) but still special having the waves come up to our window! It was our 21st wedding anniversary and they did everything to make it special. Special table right on the window with waves up to our window. Custom personalized menu and glass of champagne to toast. Stefano was so classy and treated us like royalty. No rush at all and excellent service all night. There were a few mistakes made like timing and steak a little undercooked but they were so apologetic and went way above and beyond service to correct and make things right (way more than necessary) The lobster bisque was probably best ever and our Poached Butter lobster and Waygu Ribeye were spectacular. Everything was fantastic and how they took care of us over very minor mistakes, was stellar! We will be back for other special occasions and highly recommend for special dining experience.“

“Quick, quality, and friendly sushi!!! Ordered online and got the Vermont roll and Delsushi special roll. Both were really great quality and contrasted each other nicely. The Vermont roll was so good, we loved the ratio of rice to fish. Very flavorful and light. The delsushi roll was definitely heavier, baked, and loaded!!!!“

“Very unique and high quality experience. Best for seafood lovers. If you are also a fan, check out the locations in Tijuana or Mexicali for bigger and even more exciting menus. I love the tostadas, the house ceviche, guacamole, grilled octopus, soft shell crab taco, and especially the shrimp pozole. They have this off-menu yellow salsa that is really good. The decor is classy and comfortable, great for date night or little celebrations.“

“5/5! We’ve ordered takeout from here many, many times, but today was our first time dining in!

I wish I had taken photos, but we were all way too hungry to wait! We always order the wonton soup, but the honey sweet & spicy chicken is fantastic, and their chop suey is delicious as well. They even serve complimentary jasmine tea, which was such a nice touch.

Our server was so kind and lively! It’s a bit of a drive from where we live, but it makes us so happy to know that the place making our favorite Chinese food is run by such wonderful people.

“My bride and I just spent 4 nights at the hotel. It was very nice. The restaurant, to us, is the crown jewel. We had a superb dinner. The seafood was fabulous, our server (Steven) was a delight and of course the sunset! We had breakfast on our last morning and it was very good! We came here years ago when it was Elarios and we were not disappointed this time either! We will return!“
