“My husband stumbled upon this place on the way to his dentist. and he liked the sign. It is now our weekend spot for (literally) tacos & tequila (and a beer for my hubs.) “There's two kinds of poke places: those that are more like poke salad, and those that focus on the poke itself. This place is the latter. Their flavors are delicious, portions of poke are generous (no lil baby ice cream scoops here). The poke is fresh as you can get. Big fan.“

“The noodles for Beef brisket noodles soup and cold noodle soup were fabulous. Mild spicy for the noodle soup was enough spice for a kick without being overwhelming. Beef was very tender. The cold noodles was a favorite. The noodles were chewy and paired with a sesame sauce. The lamb stir fry (not pictured) was ok. Lamb meat was tender but did not expect the greens to be all cilantro.“

“I tried the Kids Bowl from Poke One N Half and it was absolutely delicious! It was packed with fresh ingredients including sweet corn, cucumber, ginger, avocado, pineapple, edamame, white rice, crab meat, and seaweed salad. The sesame oil, sesame seeds, crunchy garlic, seaweed flakes, and ponzu sauce brought everything together with amazing flavor.

The combination of sweet, savory, and fresh ingredients made every bite enjoyable. The portions were great, the ingredients tasted fresh, and the bowl was both satisfying and refreshing. I would definitely order it again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a flavorful poke bowl!“

“My family always comes here any time we are in San diego. Its easily the best Nepalese food I've ever had and it's consistently good every single time I'm here. I usually get the buttered chicken or the lamb curry which are always amazing, but I'm sure that anything off the menu is good. I saw this taco shop and it was packed and you know about packed restaurants it usually a good place to eat. I havd the carnitas tacos the number 12 and kids got the same and wifey got the menudo and all we have to say about his place "IS IT WAS THE BEST MEXICAN FOOD I HAVE HAD IN A LONG TIME!!!!!!" “I've been to this place 10+ times. It's a small mom & pop spot, serving the type of Korean fare that you might expect. It's widely considered to be one of the best Korean joints in SD and I don't dispute that. But the star of the show is the Kimchi jiggae. I usually don't order Kimchi jiggae in restaurants, but the kimchi jiggae here is my absolute favorite, and I always get it. Their banchan is also simple yet excellent. If you want Korean food staples in SD, this is the place. Parking can be difficult, but it's Convoy, so you should know the drill.“
