“We are die hard Din Tai Fung people but only for special occasions due to wait times and cost. Ju Feng Yuan was pretty dang close to a din tai Fung dumping but reasonably priced. Highly recommend. Very clean! We had the soup dumplings, custard buns, fried rice all was very good.“

They had a few Chinese options, so tried the Broccoli Beef lunch special. I was pleasantly surprise, very good flavor and large portions. The regular portion would feed two. They also sell Beef Chow Fun. I normally have to get this at a sit down place. Theirs is pretty good. One day I will try the Ramen.“

“I recently visited the Panda Express on Poway Road in Poway, CA, and had a really great experience. The restaurant was exceptionally clean and well maintained, which made the visit comfortable and enjoyable.

The staff were all very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. They were attentive to customers and made sure everyone was taken care of with a positive attitude. A special mention goes to Luvin, who truly made a difference during my visit. Luvin was incredibly kind, helpful, and went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience. That level of genuine customer service really stands out and deserves recognition.

The food was fresh and satisfying, but what impressed me most was the overall experience, from the cleanliness of the restaurant to the friendly service. It’s clear that the team takes pride in creating a welcoming environment for their customers.

“The noodles for Beef brisket noodles soup and cold noodle soup were fabulous. Mild spicy for the noodle soup was enough spice for a kick without being overwhelming. Beef was very tender. The cold noodles was a favorite. The noodles were chewy and paired with a sesame sauce. The lamb stir fry (not pictured) was ok. Lamb meat was tender but did not expect the greens to be all cilantro.“

But one time, someone in our group said they wanted Cantonese food, so we decided to give Easter Dynasty a try. To our surprise, we completely fell in love with the flavors. “One of the best meals Ive had in SD! The fish came out perfectly crispy and tender on the inside. The veggies on the side was generous. Skewers were delicious as well especially the chicken cartilage (MUST!!). There are also unlimited side dishes/fruits free self serve. And ice cream like black sesame flavored.

Joe brought us menus which we checked out in detail. WOW.... there was some neat stuff on their menu. We kicked things off with a SHRIMP DUMPLING Appetizer ( $6.38 ) ! For our mains my wife selected HONEY WALNUT SHRIMP ( $21.95 ) while I chose KUNG PAU SPICY BEEF ( $17.95 ). You know when you try a brand new eatery you never know what to expect but I had been seeing some pretty good looking dishes ferried out to the tables while I waited for my wife. Our Shrimp Dumpling Appetizer arrived in next to no time and tasted SENSATIONAL ! WHAT A GREAT START ! Our mains came out together and the serves were GINORMOUS ! And darn did they look good. My wife went nuts over her Honey Walnut Shrimp....an authentic Chinese dish. I tried it and OMG it tasted beyond delicious ! My Kung Pau Spicy Beef & Rice BLEW ME AWAY ! FLAVOR KICK FLAVOR KICK..get the message. My delicious serve was huge and I actually had the rest for lunch today....still tasted awesome. THIS PLACE DELIVERED WAY BEYOND OUR EXPECTATIONS !“

“Came here for take-out with my family and had a good experience. The restaurant has both inside seating and outside seating. Plenty of parking outside. Ordering was quick despite the large menu. The food was ready within 10-15 minutes.

My family ordered the Salt & Pepper Filet, House Rice Noodle, and Broccoli & Beef. The Broccoli & Beef was flavorful with a well-balanced sauce that's not too salty. The beef was slightly chewy, but still enjoyable. The Salt & Pepper Fillet was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and had a nice kick of spiciness without being overly salty. The House Rice Noodles reminded me of pancit. The chicken was tender and juicy.

Overall, everything was well-seasoned without being overly salty which lets the flavors shine. Great food, generous portions, fast service, and a smooth take-out experience. I'd definitely recommend this place to friends and family!“

“Xiao long bao pork steamed dumpling were the best we had. The wontons are good but the brith is clear and insipid, we actually brought them home to add very tasty homemade broth. The fried pork and chives dumpling were very well hand made not greasy, crispy bottom. The sauces are just chili oil and soy sauce, we will definitely order to go next time, eat at home with our favorite condiments since I think these would go great with Sriracha and good quality Japanese soy sauce I buy next door @ 99 Ranch.
You can watch the ladies making everything from scratch in the back, super cool and so much work involved. Parking in the back is best. You can also get some delicious bbq pork or duck in the place across from this. Very clean. No bathroom.“

-BBQ Pork and Roast Duck on Rice $16.95- crispy pork skin, yummy! Roast Duck, mostly were bones

-Beef Stew Wonton Soup $14.95- tender beef and tasty wonton. The soup broth however was not at the desired temperature. It should be hot and not warm

“Their new location is nice inside. I really miss the cucumber instead now they put pees on the jajjamyeon. The jajajjbop was okay, so was the shrimp fried rice. Parking can be limited but we went on New Year's day so other businesses were closed and there was plenty of parking that day, I can see it be an issue other business days. Service was nice and ordering on the tablet was easy.“

“It’s been ages since I last visited this restaurant! A friend raved about their Sweet and Sour Pork Ribs (Guobaorou), so I came back with some friends. The portion of Guobaorou is generous, and it’s truly delicious—crispy and flavorful. We also ordered Jellyfish with Vinegar Dressing. The jellyfish here is quite thick and chunky, not the smooth, silky kind I’m used to, so I wouldn’t recommend it.

Then there’s the Braised Local Chicken in Iron Pot. The picture looked super tempting, so I specifically asked if it came with the steamed rolls (huajuan) shown in the photo. The waiter told me they only have steamed buns (mantou) instead. When it arrived, turns out they’re machine-made frozen buns bought from the supermarket. This dish is a letdown, so I don’t suggest it either.

On the bright side, the Sizzling Pork Kidneys were pretty good! We also wanted to order Peking Duck, but it requires advance reservation—make sure to call ahead if you want to try it.“

“When we entered there wasn’t anyone, and tbh the restaurant’s design looked a little bare… it almost looked like it wasn’t doing well. When the food came, my entire family (with three kids) loved it. We were here for lunch and ordered noodles, and I could just say it’s comfort in my belly. Tho they took our order wrongly and served us an extra bowl of noodle (and we paid for it), we took it bcos we wanted to try something else from the menu.

A senior lady (I suppose she’s the one who cooked the dishes) came out and asked if everything was alright, and even gave us a free bottle of drink. Oh, there was also a small crowd also flowed in during our meal as well.
