I had lunch on February 18th, and the service was good. The waiter was friendly. However, I forgot to leave a tip when settling the bill. Automatically adding an 18% tip seems a bit unreasonable to me!
I've been here a couple times now and have enjoyed it each time! I get their spicy hot broth (warning, MILD is spicy!!). They have a lot of great items on the menu, best part is that it's AYCE! Last time I went was on President's day. For some reason, I didn't think it was going to be THAT busy, boy was I wrong. I felt bad for their one and only waiter waiting 10+ tables. Wish sign was Liuyishou Hotpot vs Liuyishou San Diego, would have tried sooner haha. Have a decent baseline for hot pot and this place surprised me. Ayce can be rightfully expensive, but $35+$3 aycDrink was very reasonable for everything offered. Place has a lax, non-pretentious feel.
