“Ying Tang Hot Pot in Mira Mesa is a great value with an impressive variety of options. The selection stands out—tendon, fish balls, and a wide range of fresh veggies—so it’s easy to customize exactly what you want. Portions are generous for the price. Pro tip: take the leftover broth to go and add more ingredients at home for an easy second meal.“

“Second time here and it didn’t disappoint. The original beef bone broth is rich, flavorful, and packed with authentic spicy kick. The fried skewers are crispy, fragrant, and perfectly done. Great quality, generous portions, and consistently delicious. Definitely one of my go-to spots for malatang.“

“I loved 🥰 best place more more“
“A Shanghai-style home cooking small-plate buffet. We went on a Sunday and it was 28 per person. The selection is rich and varied, with dishes stir-fried fresh and served hot. Spicy dishes are optional and can be chosen based on your preference.
There are also dim sum, soy milk, and sweet rice wine glutinous rice balls available. New dishes keep coming out throughout the meal — not everything is offered at the same time — which makes it fun to try different items.
Overall, it’s great value for the price and definitely a place you could come back to often.“

“One of the best hotpot places I’ve ever eaten at!! The meats are incredibly delicious and although the stations for picking your own foods is slightly limited compared to other places, it is more than made up for by their meats available. The fish was incredibly soft and the lamb was very flavorful. They also have milk tea and calico on tap basically. And for dessert, there is self-serve Ice cream. The available flavors are butter pecan, strawberry cheesecake, mint chocolate chip, and cookies and cream.“

“Got the large hangover soup and easily shared it with 3 people and still had leftovers to eat for 2 more meals. It was a PACKED pot, and never ending. Their bonchon was also a good accompaniment. Steamed egg was also so fluffy and a big portion. Cheesy corn was delicious. And I absolutely loved the tteokbokki!!!“

“I loved their lao papaya salad! Only thing was at spicy level 10, I tasted no spice. I guess this is a ME problem. I eat too much spicy! Their lao sausages are also so good!
Service was fantastic and its nice and quiet here. I would definitely come again for lao food.“

“When we entered there wasn’t anyone, and tbh the restaurant’s design looked a little bare… it almost looked like it wasn’t doing well. When the food came, my entire family (with three kids) loved it. We were here for lunch and ordered noodles, and I could just say it’s comfort in my belly. Tho they took our order wrongly and served us an extra bowl of noodle (and we paid for it), we took it bcos we wanted to try something else from the menu.
A senior lady (I suppose she’s the one who cooked the dishes) came out and asked if everything was alright, and even gave us a free bottle of drink. Oh, there was also a small crowd also flowed in during our meal as well.
Would recommend!“
