“Very impressive Banh Mi sandwich here at Bale French Sandwiches! Their price is unbeatable, all the Banh mi are under $6.5, and their size aren’t too small. It’s like a 6 inch sandwich, perfect for one person. The sandwich has a lot of stuff inside, it’s filled with veggies and meat. I ordered a BBQ pork and a beef Banh mi, both are awesome. “A local mom and pop place in one of the busy plazas of convoy, which I was not surprise. We came here after dinner next door because we wanted something sweet and a dessert to top off our meal. A lot of the ordering was sort of confusing, but we opted to pick their top choices which was advertise on a banner. We got the purple rice yogurt drink and the mango yogurt drink. The dessert comes from Taiwanese culture i believe, but the dessert itself is a blended rice mixture with yogurt based, fruit, and cream. Overall, the drink was decent, but it just missed the mark for me being a dessert after a heavy meal. I was hoping their flavors to be bolder and stand out more, but missed the mark. However; I will still keep this as an option for dessert late night because I love supporting local mom and pop stores.“

“I have to knock a star off because they don't have any plant milk options, only that "non-dairy creamer" which has milk proteins in it. They do have a "fresh tea" drink selection so I ordered a rose oolong tea with boba, 70% sweet. It was really good! The tea flavor was strong but properly brewed with no bitterness, and the rose was deliciously aromatic but not overwhelming. Boba were cooked perfectly. It's a shame they have no plant milk options because that eliminates most of the menu for people with milk sensitivity/allergy (and vegans). But it's so great to find a tea place that actually brews good tea. Would do again next time I'm in this area of the country.“
“There are an abundance of drink options: caffeinated or not. I opted for a mango-yogurt-sago-grapefruit drink that was being advertised on a poster. It was more expensive than the other posted drinks but it was a good combination of flavors and contrasting textures. Even at the regular sweetness level, the drink wasn't cloyingly sweet. The sago was perfectly cooked with a bit of a chew and the grapefruit pulp was evident. I would have only asked that the skin of the segments be left out pieces of it would get stuck in my straw and also left a bitter aftertaste in my mouth. My hubs had a jasmine milk tea with boba. It was decent but nothing special he said. The store has a quiet study environment with a bar top table that faces the window for singles, small tables for pairs and movable tables for larger groups. The instrumental music provided a cafe ambiance without disrupting our train of thought. Other patrons seemed to also desire a quieter environment keeping their voices down as well. Friendly service. Ample parking although spaces were marked for 20 mins of 1 hour only.“
“The best boba shop in this town! Consistently excellent, with an incredible menu of many choices. They truly have something for everyone, and their drinks are well-balanced and genuine. None of that super sugary nonsense, but plenty sweet enough. They use real fruit in their teas, non dairy creamer in their milk teas (a win-win for me), and their toppings are always fresh. The employees are very personable, and they remember their regulars! The location is easily accessible, with lots of parking. This place is pretty hidden away in a shopping center, and I believe you have to park a bit far away from it, but I can be wrong. They have a bunch of flavors to choose from which is super cool and there is a lot of seating which is perfect if you are going with a big group. The people running the shop were very sweet and helped accommodate my drink since I don't drink whole milk. I tried the Coconut Ice Blend with Almond Milk and Boba, and it was very yummy. “Kung Fu has been my regular spot for boba tea for several years now. Usually easy parking, friendly staff and a large menu of tea choices. For a while you could only pay by Apple Pay or their app which I really didn't like, but they now are back to accepting other payment methods. The Thai Yea is good here as is the Winter-melon. The boba is a little chewy but you can sub it out. Good late night spot is you are in the area.“

“We ordered the Ube & taro brown sugar milk with boba and the lychee yogurt smoothie. I think both drinks were winners. They don't have a super big menu here, but they do have a number of non-caffeinated options as well as caffeinated ones, which is always appreciated. The Ube taro brown sugar milk has a fixed sweetness, and luckily the drink is actually not too sweet. There's real taro paste inside, and it's super creamy and delicious. I'm happy to also report that the texture of the boba is on point, and it's sweetened with brown sugar & not flavorless. We got it with light ice and they did not overdo it on the ice like some other places do. The lychee yogurt smoothie can be adjusted for sweetness, so I got it at 50% sweetness and that was the right move for sure. It was good, but I wish it had more of a pronounced yogurt flavor. I like how there are real pieces of lychee in this drink. I wish that they had served mine in a see-through cup instead of the odd choice of having a seasonal holiday cup mid-March lol. I'm one of those people who like to take pictures of their food and I like the aesthetic of being able to see my drink. (Yes, this is nitpicking, and no, I didn't mind it that much.) The environment is bright and while there aren't that many tables, it's still a good location to chat. We stayed here for a little bit enjoying our drinks. I docked it one point because the price point is pretty high. It was $7.25-7.75 for these drinks.
