They make their yoghurt fresh in store. They even have a coconut yoghurt for the vegan among you. The many toppings are super fun too. Try one you would never think to add and you’ll probably really enjoy it. The purple rice or oats add a nice chew to your drink. I like the mango pomelo sago with extra sago. “There were two extremely patient and kind girls working the counter today and they made this place worth talking about. We are from Orlando, FL and we have been itching to find a good Boba spot for the last 4 days. As soon as I walked in, I felt like I already won the lottery. Their churro donut is phenomenal and light, but what really impressed me was when we went off menu and I asked for a taro coconut item. One of the girls said that she likes those two best when they are mixed together in a smoothie and...she did not disappoint. The taro coconut smoothie is better than anything I have tried in Orlando. In addition, I decided to try something new and asked for the pink coconut milk tea (essentially it was strawberry and coconut). Once again, I LOVED the drink. I hope I do come back to San Diego soon and bring family along with me because I loved the atmosphere, employees/customer service, and menu items.

“The place has a pretty good space, a lot of seating compared to other cafes. Parking was pretty easy as well since it’s in a plaza.

Staff overall was nice and helpful but minus 1 star because we got total of 5 drinks and there was only 2 of us. And it threw me off when they weren’t gonna give us a bag or drink carrier and when we asked, the guy was so confused and lost. He gave us a little cup holder that holds 2 drinks💀 Not two of those, just 1. Don’t even wanna bother asking for another one at that point.“

“reminds me of Taiwan, specifically a typical cafe in Gaoxiong, which is the most comparable place to SD in the US. It's spacious, comfortable (cushion for butts without cushion), family-friendly, pet-friendly, games for kids, a piano: it's basically a day-care center. The decoration is very DIY and neat, which is what really gave me Taiwan vibes. Yellow lights (I don't know why other shops use bright white office lights..) They know how to decorate on a budget. Clean bathroom. Clearly a family business. The owners are from Guangdong, but theyre quite different from the city people. Maybe San Diego slowed them down.. If this is the vibe of SD, I'm def lovin' it!

drinks are pricey, $6+ with boba. Boba isn't free. Standard milk tea is solid, but even at 30% sweetness, it's quite sweet. Egg puff for $5 is cute.

I got a floral milk tea, a slush, a fruit tea, and a coffee and ALL of them were shockingly good!! I can tell they use fresh, real ingredients cuz it has that fragrant potency you don’t get from pre-mixes/powders, and you can even see the pieces like even for my milk tea there were remnants of osmantheus in it which I was happy to find cuz I love osmanthus. The purple rice they have as a topping was AMAZING I was not expecting it to be so yummy!! And the coffee is legit! I’m picky with my boba but even more picky with my coffee so this place is my new go-to!!

ANDDDD they have xiao long bao!! I have not tried their food but the idea of getting XLB with my delicious boba on the go is enough to make me a regular customer… can’t wait to try everything!!“

“I initially wanted to go to Gong Cha but it was too far away from my location. I'm glad that this was the case because I ended up finding this gem of a place. The spot has a chill vibe and it's set up for you to hang out with a few small games and old magazines. In the background, they had old/retro video game music playing, like from Final Fantasy and other popular games, that added to the ambience. Also, this is only my second time being to a bubble tea shop but unlike Gong Cha, they have food here as well which was a plus. Furthermore, the owner is friendly. Definitely recommend.“
