“Incredible flavors! Super nice service. We tried 2 apps, a noodle soup and a dessert and all of them were very unique experiences. Don’t let the super Low-key aesthetic fool you or the prices scare you. It’s worth every penny. Can’t wait to try more of their cuisine!“

“Great food and great service! Pho Nom has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and everything we ordered tasted fresh and flavorful. The pho was comforting, the portions were generous, and the overall experience was really enjoyable. Special thanks to Olivia and Leyna for their excellent service — they were friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. Would definitely come back again!“

“Amazing vietnamese coffee!
We ordered a seasonal drink and their Hanoi egg coffee. Hanoi egg coffee was definitely the winner. We were a bit skeptical about the hype surrounding this place, but our experience proved that they truly serve incredible Vietnamese coffee! We would definitely stop by again if we're in the area.
Expect long lines, especially on the weekends. It's a good idea to plan for takeout, as seating is limited and the inside can get crowded with people waiting for their drinks.“

“More than just a Bahn mi shop. Cali Baguette is an authentic Vietnamese eatery. Besides an amazing selection of sandwiches (btw you can actually smell the fresh baguettes being baked!) There is a multitude of snacks, drinks and desserts! The service and very warm hospitality are just as impressive as the food 👍 I will definitely be back again AND again!“

“Don’t order with your eyes because you won’t finish… trust me, it’s that good! They have to have the “best” Viet BANH CUON (steamed rice rolls) in town! Also the best BANH Mi Chao (Beef, sausage, meatball, eggs, and French roll skillet) for a great value too! I will most definitely come back again …and I live 30 minutes away in East Chula Vista! I highly recommend. 5 STARS!!!“

“This is honestly my absolute favorite pho place in San Diego. My favorite thing to get here is the pho tai and it hits everytime. I have tried other things here as well and everything else I tried was also delicious but I am a SUCKER for their pho broth. Not only is their food amazing the staff is incredibly friendly and I get excellent service every single time. If you haven’t been here already.. you really should !!“

“Had their egg rolls with the rice paper a year ago from a co-worker who brought a tray in to work. Haven't stopped thinking about it.
But somehow, it wasn't as good as I remembered it. Still good but a little too dry and too salty.
Bahn mi was great.
Not much of a seating area so beware if you plan on eating in.
They only take cash.
Wheelchair accessibility: Not much room for wheelchair“

“We’ve been coming here for like 15 years. The pho broth is one of the best: deeply savory but not too salty or sweet. It could rival some of the more popular Westminster spots.
I’d say this pho is a step above any of those pho franchises like Kevin’s Noodle House or Pho Lee Hoa Phat.
Service is always quick, efficient and with a smile. Bonus: they’re open on Christmas until 3pm!“

“Went for lunch with family on a whim. Family was happy with the choice. We went specifically for sushi, and I picked 4 rolls with appetizers. Family thought fish was fresh, food was delicious. Drank the passion fruit with food, refreshing. We agreed we need to return to try more dishes. Looks like regulars take to go. We were only ones for awhile catching up. Gradually mix of groups came in by the time we headed out.“

“Stopped by here for dinner, we had the number 1 basically everything in it, broth was good and plenty of meat, we also got the egg rolls which was also very tasty, only thing that was so/so was the ube boba next time we will try the thai flavor, but all in all the best place to get pho in San Diego“

“I’m giving 5 stars, despite the price. This might be the most expensive place in the San Diego area to get a bowl of pho. However the broth is sooooo gooooooood. And the cuts of meat are super premium. I come to this place DESPITE the price, if that gives you any idea.“

“Authentic Vietnamese place serving only 4 dishes. But if you like made to order banh cuon (steamed rice rolls), cha lua (steamed pork loaf), or best of all, gio chien (fried pork paste), you really won’t be disappointed. These simple items are much better than what’s available elsewhere because of the ingredients and because of their freshness. Yum!
Note: You can reheat the fried pork paste in an air fryer at home and it still tastes good, but when it just comes out, the smell of it is so irresistible!“

“Ordered 4 dishes for takeout. The heavenly papaya salad, garlic chicken bowl, fried shrimp noodle bowl, and the pho fried noodle. Didn’t care much for the papaya salad. The dressing seems to be missing something. Taste diluted. The chicken bowl was good and flavorful. The shrimp noodle bowl was good but wish they give more shrimp. There was only two shrimp. The fried pho noodle was oily and the noodle was hard. No taste at all but just oily. I do wish they have more options tho. And the portion was pretty small and pricy.“

“This is our favorite new neighborhood restaurant. Max was helpful with recommending the chicken wings as a starter. The Rib Eye Pho and Rib Bone Pho were amazing. We’ve also enjoyed the calamari on a previous visit. Abi was helpful in keeping our drinks replenished. All the staff create a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, which will keep us coming back for years to come.“

“The best authentic Vietnamese"banh mi" in Southern California. I live in LA, but every time I travel to San Diego, Paris Bakery is always my first place to visit. They have a variety type of Banh mi with reasonable price, their tastes are always delicious.“

“Bale French Sandwich is a tiny shop tucked away in Mira Mesa Square serving quick Vietnamese dishes like banh mi, fried rice, egg rolls, and boba.
We enjoyed the charbroiled pork and lemongrass chicken banh mi - a great value at $6.25 each. The bread had a great crust: thin, very crisp, and flaky. The pickled carrot and daikon added nice texture and brightness, while the raw jalapeños brought the right amount of heat. The egg rolls were also a hit, with a peppery flavor and a crisp outer shell.
Note that this is a grab-and-go spot with a strictly business vibe. The service is efficient, so have your order ready. There is only one small table for snacking and two benches for waiting. They also offer extensive party tray options if you order in advance.
There is plenty of free parking, though the lot gets competitive on weekends due to the nearby Aldi and Lucky Seafood Market.“

“Came here for lunch on a Sunday.
The atmosphere is super welcoming and the staff is very friendly, the food is very good and priced well. A lot of different menu offerings, I got the filet mignon pho and a lychee tea.
There are a few other items that caught my eye. The tables around me got a variety of different foods and everything looked very appetizing. The portion size is great. I recommend this place for sure. Ample parking, right down the street from main area of PB“
