Emiliano was our waiter and absolutely made the experience. We let him help guide us through the menu, and he did not disappoint.

We started with the pear and beet salad and masa-fried squash blossoms, then worked our way through the Vietnamese pork meatballs and lamb seekh, and finished with the Wagyu burger. Every dish brought something completely different to the table, which made sharing everything even more fun.

The food was beautifully presented, full of flavor, and just adventurous enough without trying too hard. Add the atmosphere of being right in the heart of Balboa Park, and it made for such a memorable meal.

They charge $1 for literally the smallest piece I've ever seen and when I called to voice my concern about feeling ripped off, they didn't care. “The noodles for Beef brisket noodles soup and cold noodle soup were fabulous. Mild spicy for the noodle soup was enough spice for a kick without being overwhelming. Beef was very tender. The cold noodles was a favorite. The noodles were chewy and paired with a sesame sauce. The lamb stir fry (not pictured) was ok. Lamb meat was tender but did not expect the greens to be all cilantro.“

People who loves pho, once they try there noodles soup they can't do pho anymore. “Just keep in mind I came here on a Monday at 6 PM so we didn't have to wait for a table or battle for parking. This parking lot was not turned into a paid lot try. It's where Chorus and Hive are. It's still fairly new so the menu is slightly limited. We saw photos of dishes on the wall but were told they were not available until next year. The jjajangmyeon was slightly watery. I got the "meat" one so there were strips of grilled pork. My husband got the "spicy" one which was green chili on top. It was not crazy spicy according to him but it was not that painful spicy. We got the chili shrimp and I really liked that. It was crispy, fried jumbo shrimp over with sweet chili sauce on a bed of cabbage. It had enough heat making your lips feel some heat. I liked it even though it's not a fancy dish. If I don't have to come on a busy weekend night I'm down to come back.

Oh just be ready to order on really slow tablets but your order gets through as long you're patient with the tablets. The tables are far enough where you feel like you're not on top of each other like at other restaurants in Convoy.“

“Was in the San Diego area craving some drunken noodles (Pad Kee Mao or Mow) and asked Google to help me find one close.

The ordering process went smoothly as I looked at the website and called in my order.

Picking up was ok. It is a little house that has been converted into this restaurant and I walked right past it. When you go, look for the little yellow house that is set back a little bit from the street.

As I was paying for my meal, I asked if there were any Yelp discounts. He said no discounts and it is a 3% fee to use your credit card.

The Panang Curry was amazing. Lots of flavor. Perfectly cooked rice and they go together so well. Great consistency, plenty of carrots with come chicken (that was my chosen protein) and other veggies. I was surprised that when I opened the curry, it was still piping hot. And they wrapped the container in plastic wrap in addition to the cover being on it. Love when restaurants do that as it decreases the chance of spills.

The drunken noodles was what I was craving to begin with and I found out lacking. Not much flavor and to be honest, I was hoping to have had some Thai Basil in it. To be fair, it didn't mention that on their menu. It just adds so much flavor and without it, it is too bland for me. I'm also accustomed to much more saucy noodles and these are very dry. When I have leftovers, I will add some Huy Fong Sambal Oelek Chili Paste.

Over all, I would go again. However, I'll stick with the curry next time.“
