One of the waitresses was extremely rude and unprofessional throughout my interaction with her. Additionally, I requested a few slices of lemon, and later noticed that I was charged for them without being informed there would be an additional cost. I found this practice both misleading and discourteous.“

“My family of 4 had dinner at Pho Convoy last night. Simon is just incredible. My husband put too much chili oil in my daughter’s pho leaving it inedible for her. We were ready to order another bowl but Simon stopped us a from doing that, he took her bowl, tossed the spicy broth and gave her new broth. Very sweet and great customer service.
We also had the egg rolls and chicken vermicelli. All very flavorful and filling. The place isn’t fancy, but it’s cozy.

“I've been to a lot of chinese restaurants and this is conveniently located across from Southwestern college. It might not be fine dining, but it is by far. My favorite. The entrees are big, always full of flavor. I love everything from their mandarin chicken, lemon chicken, orange chicken lemon pepper chicken wings. My favorite, of course, is egg drop soup, it has a bit of chicken with corn bits in it which makes it hearty. The staff is great. They've been there for years. And they remember friendly faces like mine. Come one, come with a group and you will feel satisfied. The restaurant isn't super big, but lots of people take to go orders. They also have lunch specials. If you come during those hours. Please support the solo business as I have been for years.“

“Such a great dining experience in the heart of Balboa Park.

Emiliano was our waiter and absolutely made the experience. We let him help guide us through the menu, and he did not disappoint.

We started with the pear and beet salad and masa-fried squash blossoms, then worked our way through the Vietnamese pork meatballs and lamb seekh, and finished with the Wagyu burger. Every dish brought something completely different to the table, which made sharing everything even more fun.

The food was beautifully presented, full of flavor, and just adventurous enough without trying too hard. Add the atmosphere of being right in the heart of Balboa Park, and it made for such a memorable meal.

Definitely ask for Emiliano and let him help you choose you won't be disappointed.“

“My order was for takeout....and it was ready right on time. Everything was absolutely delicious and prices were good! The Satay chicken was tender and flavorful....Pad Woon Sen was fresh and light with crispy vegetables. Cream cheese wontons were great and served as dessert. The portions were generous with plenty left over for a second meal. Pretty sure Little Thai Kitchen is now my favorite Thai food spot!😊“

“Been eating here since I was about 5, now at 40 I could finish their bowl on my own thank goodness ?, thank goodness the flavor is still the same. Same owners/cook since i was 5,. Tried other restaurants in LA china town and still not as good as this one. Even though i live farther away mow, i still drive there to get their special noodle soup (been eating since i was 5), eveyone i introduced this restuarant too now loves it. People who loves pho, once they try there noodles soup they can't do pho anymore. Fried egg noodles soup also to die for, including their thick fried noodles, i can go on forever with all their different dishes that will show you what asain/homemade style food is. I've tasted many different chinese food from here to Seattle/Mexicali and this to me is still the restaurant that others try to match up too. ??????“

“This restaurant came highly recommended and it did not disappoint. I tried the Roast Duck Noodle Soup and Walnut Shrimp. The duck was really delicious with a very nice broth. Every bite was a delight. I enjoyed the shrimp - plump and juicy with a lightly citrus white sauce and roasted walnuts. I would order it again, but there are a lot of items on their extensive menu that I would also like to try. Very nice, low key service. Clean and pleasant dining room.“

“Was in the San Diego area craving some drunken noodles (Pad Kee Mao or Mow) and asked Google to help me find one close.

The ordering process went smoothly as I looked at the website and called in my order.

Picking up was ok. It is a little house that has been converted into this restaurant and I walked right past it. When you go, look for the little yellow house that is set back a little bit from the street.

As I was paying for my meal, I asked if there were any Yelp discounts. He said no discounts and it is a 3% fee to use your credit card.

The Panang Curry was amazing. Lots of flavor. Perfectly cooked rice and they go together so well. Great consistency, plenty of carrots with come chicken (that was my chosen protein) and other veggies. I was surprised that when I opened the curry, it was still piping hot. And they wrapped the container in plastic wrap in addition to the cover being on it. Love when restaurants do that as it decreases the chance of spills.

The drunken noodles was what I was craving to begin with and I found out lacking. Not much flavor and to be honest, I was hoping to have had some Thai Basil in it. To be fair, it didn't mention that on their menu. It just adds so much flavor and without it, it is too bland for me. I'm also accustomed to much more saucy noodles and these are very dry. When I have leftovers, I will add some Huy Fong Sambal Oelek Chili Paste.

Over all, I would go again. However, I'll stick with the curry next time.“

“Got the burrito and rangoon roll! I think we wanted the roll to be crispier since it’s so “mushy” inside. Maybe like an extra crunchy outside layer would help with the texture and overall satisfaction. We were looking for a little more from it rather than just creamy mush and occasional crab flavor.

The spicy basil thai beef burrito, level 3 spice was yummy! Tastes how you would expect it to. Lime was sooo good on it too. We filled up pretty fast on the rangoon so we could save the burrito for breakfast tomorrow 🤤

Overall good to try if you’re in the area but not something we would go out of our way for. With so many really good food places around, I don’t think we would circle back to this for quite some time.“

“It's a nice spot for quick and delicious food. Our go to is the salted pepper shrimp, we got two orders on Tuesday and it was the usual hit at the lunch gathering. Service was easy and friendly, there were two people ahead of me and the wait wasn't too bad. We've been coming here for two years now.“
