Based on the reviews, Trieu Chau Restaurant is a hidden gem in City Heights that serves family style Chinese-Cambodian cuisine. It is a family-run, unassuming hole-in-the-wall run by a kind and hardworking family that has been around for decades. The food is delicious, the portion sizes are incredibly generous, and the service is always prompt, friendly, and efficient. The salt and pepper series, including chicken wings, fried tofu, calamari, and shrimp, is a big hit. The chicken wings are perfectly crispy on the outside and super juicy on the inside. Other recommended dishes include the noodle soup with flavorful broth, chow fun, Chinese donuts, fried rice with bbq beef, and the porridge for comfort food. The fish cake is also very fresh and tasty. The BBQ pork thin rice noodles with intestine is a favorite for noodle soup. The restaurant offers great bang for the buck with big portions and authentic taste. It is a reliable and comfortable spot for a satisfying bowl of noodles or delicious takeout. This place is definitely worth a try for a home cooked style meal.
