“This is as mom and pop is as good as you can get for 2026. Dad works the floor, summer the daughter helps dad out and mom and other family members work the kitchen. Regardless of what people say about “women in the kitchen” you know the food will be the best food when a restaurant is this way. The food here has soul out into every dish and the consistency is amazing. One of the best restaurants to come to Point Loma. It can get busy from 6-8pm most evenings.

“Absolutely excellent food. I went with my Taiwanese friend and he said every dish we got was perfectly authentic. We order the biang biang noodles, mapo tofu, liang pi cold noodles with sesame, and green beans with eggplant. I was enthralled by each dish and enjoyed every bite. Each dish felt like my favorite, but I have to say that the eggplant wowed me thoroughly. Can’t wait to come back!!!

The customer service was honestly the sweetest. I wish I had gotten their names because they were so kind and welcoming. The cook (the cutest elderly man!).

We ordered the creamy bun (hot creamy lightly sweet excellent) bbq pork bun (a little sweet for my taste but still really good fluffy delicious), scallion pancake (could have had more scallion but it was really crispy!), sezchuan chili oil wonton (lightly spicy and numbing really good wonton with the peanut!) the dandan noodles (very nutty delicious noodles) and the Xiao long bao (delicious hot and the ginger was fresh) Was really pleased about the scan to order at the table! Really fast service too. Came in on a rainy cold day, left warm full and happy. Would definitely come back!“

“The braised beef noodle is the queen!!! All other noodles are good too. The beef skewers were delicious, there’s cumin aroma in it, some people dont like cumin. Ordered Chengdu style potato snack, steam chicken with chilli oil, Chongqing noodles, spicy jelly noodle and orange chicken. Each of them was a flavor bomb. This restaurant is definitely in my favorites now. Staff was very sweet and accommodating.“

Tried Aztec Smash Burger for the first time and was genuinely impressed.

The burgers were excellent~crispy smash patties, fresh buns, and great flavor. I added lettuce, tomato, and pickles to the Jalapeño Smash Burger and it was delicious. Burger was Slightly too salty, but still fantastic.

The coolest part was experiencing a ghost kitchen / virtual food hall for the first time. You order, get a text when your food is ready, enter your code at the lockers, and your food pops right out. Super easy & efficiency.

For the quality and amount of food we received, the value is great. In a world where burgers keep getting more expensive, this concept just makes sense: great food, lower overhead, and better prices for customers.“

“I’m still thinking about the food from Chin's Szechwan. The Hunan chicken with black bean sauce was so addicting—bold, savory, and packed with flavor. I honestly couldn’t stop eating it and keep craving it even after the meal.

The sweet and sour pork was also a standout, especially because it was boneless, which made it so easy and enjoyable to eat. Even the bok choy with mushrooms completely surprised me—it tasted amazing on its own and didn’t feel like just a side dish at all.

They have combo meals, and also ala carte meals and it just doesn't look and feel authentic, but it literally takes you to China, or Hong Kong. (My father served 23 years in the US Navy) He told her that they qualified for a military discount, Jack didn't have to do that, but he did and I am really appreciative.
