On my most recent visit, I even received only 5 pieces of chicken when I ordered 6. Jollibee shouldn’t feel like just another busy fast-food chain. The Filipino warmth, hospitality, pride, and quality are part of the brand—and just as important as the Chickenjoy. I’m sharing this not simply to complain, but because we love Jollibee and want this location to do better. “Doesn’t look like much walking past, but WOW this was amazing and fresh Mexican food- I had the TamaElote- a perfect tamale topped with generous deconstructed Elote topping- two of my favorite things all warm and happy for only $5, it fed me better than the much more expensive meals we’d spend for a similar meal at a fancy restaurant. Perfect for walking around old town, but worthy of a destination in itself!“

Every time I walk in I am always greeted and never rushed when ordering . I personally love there fruit waters and making my own chip bowl. All prices are decent and affordable so they fit everyones budget . It can get busy from time to time but totally worth the wait . I definitely recommend visiting this location to grab something for your sweet tooth or salty craving:) . Most importantly this location is always clean and sanitized ! You will never see a mess.“

“Sara's is a tiny delight! We recently stayed nearby in the Mission Beach neighborhood, and we ate dinner from Sara's almost every night of our 8-day stay. The al pastor is delicious and highly recommended, and we also enjoyed the rolled tacos, burritos, and rice and beans. It was always busy which is a good sign, and we'll definitely be back if we are ever in this neighborhood again.“

“I love Sombreros Mexican food off Carmel Mountain Rd. (near the Krispy Kreme Donut Shop). It’s one of the few affordable Mexican restaurants in this area. They have great homemade salsa, and they give chips with every order. It’s my go-to Mexican restaurant when I’m nearby.“

“They did change their happy hour menu from what I had previously seen online and was slightly disappointed. BUT my friends and I were there for a good time nonetheless! Our waitress was an absolute gem and did mention the margaritas are only one, which was the house one only. We ordered 3, one for each, and it was amazing! Especially for $5 per!!! The tacos were half off so we did decide on a taco each and they were absolutely amazing and beautifully presented. Fries were also very delicious. We wanted to try another spot so we weren’t there long but the music playing was good and outside was nice and cool. We are going back asap even if the happy hour wasn’t what we expected, we still want to try more from the menu.“

“This place is located in the food court inside 99 Ranch in Balboa Ave. They have tables to sit in. I ordered the 3 piece chicken combo meal. Salt & pepper flavor. Also, ordered the spicy mac & cheese. Chicken was pretty crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The mac & cheese was also very good“

“We love Weinerschnitzel and ordered it for delivery last night. Even though the chili cheese hot dogs are my all time favorite, I went differently last night and ordered a kraut dog with chili, and the bacon ranch fries. I have to say, I was a little disappointed. As far as the kraut dog went, the flavor that stood out was the bun. The sauerkraut didn't have the tanginess I was looking for. The ranch fries were great, and I added jalapenos which was a good decision, the only thing that made it not a five-star choice was the fact that they forgot the ranch dressing 😂“
