“Took the family to Burger Kook in Bonita this evening. This was the first time we visited and it was a fantastic dining experience. this is a Family business serving fine quality food in a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. We ordered the cheeseburger, the pizza burger, the teriyaki burger and corn dogs. Everything was terrific and the owners stopped by our table to check up, and we really enjoyed having a conversation with each of them. they make you feel so very welcome. definitely a do again. Lots more menu items to try.“

“Im here almost every day due to the proximity, however, the service has slowed down a little since the push to using the app, the inside order screens, and I'm thinking less employees per shift. I even see the managers having to pitch in to help more. I'm estimating I've been idling in this drive thru for over 20 minutes even though there were only a handful of cars ahead of me.“

“Nice quiet kfc fastfood in Bonita. The service is fast, place is clean, and staffs are somewhat friendly. I ordered what used to be a $5 fillup is now almost $6, still reasonable for two pieces of chicken, side, biscuit, chocolate chip cookie, and a regular drink. Some of the benches need to be replaced, but overall, very comfortable with the dining environment. Hidden away in a non busy area of bonita.“

“Had a excellent experience besides the heavy line of customers but it kept moving in great speed. I believe it was Alejandro R who served me and seemed to be lead was doing a fantastic job from greeting with a smile, eye contact, perfect servings, food was hot and fresh while he gave new orders to refill trays. I wish all panda express locations were this great as this location with the cook crew working cool under pressure and focused. Kudos to the entire team on 7/28. My first visit“

“Very fun experience, the concept is awesome! I tried the strawberry matcha chiller and was pleasantly surprised. The manager was super nice and made some recommendations, ended up getting three more drinks! It's exactly what you think, Tacobell making iced coffee but with their twist. I would come back again.“

“Philly Steak Subs is one of those no-frills spots that just focuses on doing one thing right. The cheesesteak was hot, messy, and packed with flavor—exactly what you want. It’s not fancy, and the space is pretty basic, but it delivers. Service was quick and straightforward. Great when you’re craving something greasy, filling, and satisfying.“

“Hole in the wall joint that by far the best Mexican in Alpine. My go to is the bean and cheese with a side pastor taco and a side of rice. I then put the pastor and rice in the burrito, absolutely delicious and perfect portions. Also the crew is awesome , it’s next to the brewery which allows you to take it in. All around awesome!!“

“I’ll start off my review with saying great customer service . It shows the owner has put in a lot much of his/her time to train their employees properly . Every time I walk in I am always greeted and never rushed when ordering . I personally love there fruit waters and making my own chip bowl. All prices are decent and affordable so they fit everyones budget . It can get busy from time to time but totally worth the wait . I definitely recommend visiting this location to grab something for your sweet tooth or salty craving:) . Most importantly this location is always clean and sanitized ! You will never see a mess.“

“This place is great, I got the shrimp burrito. who knew tater tots and shrimp go well together! It adds a slight crispness to every bite. I couldn’t finish the burrito it was so big but I wanted to cuz it was delicious. My husband from PA got the Philly cheesesteak to try and he approved. He even liked the special sauce they used.“

“This is a small shop, but they have a fair size menu. I ordered the 5 lbs Carna Sada Burrito, and I could only eat half of it!

Otherwise, the shop looks clean and has the food aroma smell of Mexican food from the grill! Service was patient when I was ordering, and the chef was fast preparing my order.

“We love El Sombrero! Everything is excellent! We live right next to a **berto’s but haven’t been there in years since we found this gem!

The beans are great! The rice is great! The chips are great! The chunky salsa is amazing! I know these are “sides” but it means a lot.

I’m a huge Chile verde fan and the burrito is fantastic! Add rice and cheese and it’s two meals.

My wife loves the relleno, taquitos, crunchy taco, Cali taco and, her new favorite, deluxe breakfast burrito.

I had a kind of complicated order, but DC Smoothing it out and got me exactly what I needed for me and my family. Definitely will be coming back here and hopefully see this Gentleman Again.

“Mrs Rice beats Yoshinoya or any other teriyaki place any day. First the owners and staff here are extremely attentive and prepare each order personally to ensure the food is fresh. The bowls and plates are very filling as compared to what you'd find elsewhere as they give a heaping serving of proteins and rice. They also do wraps for those who prefer tortilla wrapped over teriyaki. I got the #7 which is chicken and steak plus veggies: so good! Drinks are available both as fountain drinks as well as bottled depending on preferences. One reason to keep coming back is that this restaurant is clean and you're supporting a local small business. Parking is available in the lot shared with other business and there's seating available inside too.“

“Food and service is great. Burgers seem to be somewhat pricey but at the same time most places are pricey anyway. Probably best bang for your buck though. Dollars well spent based on the taste. They do have a regular combo for $14 so that's a great deal. With respect to customer service, once they missed a couple of ingredients on my burger and I went to ask if they could give them to me on the side. They were very apologetic and made it up to me. I thought that was a great touch of customer service from their part. Overall, great place and highly recommended.“
