“No lie- Its rare to see a restaurant that can keep a high level of reviews. This is no lie! Steamy Piggy was FIRE. Ramen was TOP 10 hands down. A Creamy smooth slightly sweet pork tonkotstu. perfectly cooked thin Chasu pork medium noodles. the egg was not marinated well but if u let it sit til the end it absorbed the broth well. The pineapple fried rice was also spot on perfectly cooked shrimp and the hint of sweetness from the pineapple hit.

“I think this place is great! The lady up front was very sweet and helped me get what I wanted; a Buffalo Grilled Cheese! It was on Texas toast and was HUGE. The fries were delicious and the grilled cheese was cheesy and not lacking on chicken! My only knock on the sandwich is that it could've used some more buffalo sauce, but that might be a personal preference. Overall, a wonderful time there. Complements to the staff!“

Went here with my other half around 5:30–6 PM on a Sunday and had a really solid experience. Took advantage of their happy hour and grabbed a beer 🍺—great deal.

We didn’t order too much since we had an event after, but we tried the soon dubu soup, honey jam wings, and some rice on the side. The wings were the clear standout—easily one of the top three wings I’ll remember 🔥 Super crispy even with the sauce, great smoky flavor from the peppers, good size, and the batter-to-meat ratio was spot on. Everything was cooked perfectly.

The soondubu was excellent as well—perfect portion size, well-balanced, not too spicy, not too heavy, and served at just the right temperature with a really clean, flavorful broth 👌

The space has plenty of seating whether you’re going as a couple or with a group. The service felt small-scale and homey, which made it really comfortable. Our waitress was friendly and patient, and the overall vibe felt very family-oriented.

You can tell it’s a popular spot too—steady flow of dine-in, takeout, and delivery orders. Location-wise, it’s tucked behind the UTC area with plenty of parking and not much traffic, which makes it easy to get in and out.

“My husband was in a business dinner and they walked some of gaslamp afterwards. After they parted ways, he needed to use the bathroom so he ran in the closest restaurant. They said he couldn't use it unless he was a customer. I totally get that but they were packed out so it made no sense.... Either way, he bought a chicken quesadilla to go. He brought it back to the room for me and our sons to have. It tasted good...until my youngest son spit out a piece of plastic he found inside the quesadilla. My Husband called about it the next day bc they were then closed. Their response was "oops sorry" like wth?! They then said "bring it back along with the plastic." No mention of a refund or investigation of how it happened. And by that point, room service had come and took the box of the rest of the food plus no one wanted to fight downtown traffic and pay to park to have them possibly offer us another quesadilla . 🙄 Again the food we did eat, minus the plastic, was good but the service wasn't.“

“Visiting family from the East Coast and my daughter took me here today. I was stationed in Daegu South Korea for 2 years while in the Army. we used to get bb.q chicken almost every weekend. The kids loved it and so did I. This was my first time having it in 8 years and it immediately brought me back to being in Daegu. The food was amazing and brought us right back to being there. “The wings here are good, while not the best, still has me coming back for more. It's even been a weekly craving I keep coming back for. They are fast, good sauces and ranch. Plus the bread sticks are very yummy and hard to resist as well... Great for absorbing all that leftover sauce. “We have been HUGE a huge fan of a local crawfish restaurant for as long as they have been open, and have gone frequently over the years. Recently we have been looking to try some of the other crawfish places around. Not only did the Boxing Crab have flavorful sauces to choose from, top quality freshness, the best cooked crawfish we have had in a restaurant, (even better than our regular spot), and their service was wonderful! It was delicious, I like spicy, but those jalapenos were SPICY lol, we only wanted them on half,so that was a bummer, but I got a whole pizza to myself! I hate crust, but that Parmesan garlic spread made that crust like a bread stick and soo good. The whole slice went down. Ironically, our baby likes spicy too,(obviously didn't give the jalapeno pieces) hand-to-fist woofed it down, baby approves! Pizza was awesome! Wife ate the pasta and said it was also amazing. “I initially wanted to go to Gong Cha but it was too far away from my location. I'm glad that this was the case because I ended up finding this gem of a place. The spot has a chill vibe and it's set up for you to hang out with a few small games and old magazines. In the background, they had old/retro video game music playing, like from Final Fantasy and other popular games, that added to the ambience. Also, this is only my second time being to a bubble tea shop but unlike Gong Cha, they have food here as well which was a plus. Furthermore, the owner is friendly. Definitely recommend.“

“It was my first time coming to this location. When I walked in, I noticed a guy picking up his order and going through the bag like he was on a mission, checking every single item.

In my head, I thought, “Relax, man, it’s not that serious.”

I got my wings, headed to my car, and decided to sneak a few fries before they got cold. That’s when I realized… no ranch.

I dumped the whole bag hoping it was just hiding. Nope. No ranch to be found.
I was happy I found out before I drove off. Imagine what a nightmare that would have been--hot honey rub wings with no ranch. That's like Batman with no Robin. Mario with no Luigi...you get the point. I went back inside the store and got my ranch.

Now I get it. That guy wasn’t being extra, he was being smart. From now on, I’ll check my bag too. Better safe than sorry.“
