I just moved to San Diego from Los Angeles, and I thought Los Angeles had good fish until I ate at CAPTAIN SAM'S. Captain Sam's is the BEST FISH I HAVE EVER ATE. THE ZUCCHINI IS DELICIOUS, THE CORN BALLS , just awesome. The chicken is very delicious. When my family or friends visit me? We go to Captain Sam's fish market and purchase the best fish in town. SO YUMMY FISH IS SO GOOD
Hole in a wall, chicken and fish spot. The chicken wings, jumbo shrimp, catfish nuggets and fried oysters are delicious. All combos/ dinners come with coleslaw and fries. Everything fried fresh to order. Average prices! Reasonable portions. Located in the back of a liquor store. Plenty of parking. Lunch specials offered at a great price.

The best wings in San Diego hands down and by a long shot. You wouldn’t even know this place existed it’s so tucked away but man it sure is worth the hunt and the price. The wings are quality, huge, always juicy and flavorful. The fish is nicely battered and fried. Try the sides they are all delicious. Well done Captain Sam’s keep it up!
