“Owner is a super nice guy, place really gives off a local casual dining feeling.

Real standout is the fried oysters, nicely fried and the side sauce is a hit. Hush puppies are nice too. Fish and chips are alright, crinkle cut fries not my favorite and it's a simple fried light batter fish, but definitely not bad for the price. Fried scallops are ok.“

The staff was so friendly and also attentive keeping things clean.

Just a short walk from the ocean but much more reasonable prices than the closer restaurants plus delicious fresh fish! And even on a hot day they get a nice breeze blowing through.“

“Casual eatery, but the food is outstanding, I would say if u order the same food somewhere else will be double the price, off course depending what u r looking for, for me value, quality and taste. Don’t mind using plastic forks and paper napkins.
Ok let’s talk about the food, very good quality as u can see by the picture, taste is also good. I do suggest if the sharing plate comes with 2 Tacos and 2 Crab cakes, and less calamari, shrimp and fries and up the price a bit from $29.00 to $36.00 will still be worth it.“

“I was there a week ago visiting from Texas! We were staying on Coronado St. My sister/ family and I went to order take out ,the food was delicious but not only that I assume it’s the owners young son he just amazed me on how he was helping his Father at the register, and getting the orders ready he’s definitely going to make it big one day ! He should be an inspiration to kids out there! Good job little boy!!!! Great work to Dad for teaching him what hard work is all about!!“

“Fish District is much better than the Rubios and Fish Grill that are nearby. Their food is fresh, delicious, and healthy.

The cashier/server Paige provided excellent recommendations and outstanding customer service.

What really stood out, though, was the service, Mel, the manager, went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and genuinely happy with our experience. “We live in Philly & love Richard Blais so when visiting my brother in San Diego we always have to check out any new spots by Chef Blais. We were so happy our trip last week included California English! Right away the decor & atmosphere draw you in, being both chic & comfortable. Our server was absolutely fantastic & the food could not have been better. Try the ricotta toast, fish & chips & sticky toffee & date cake, you won’t be disappointed!“

“We visited Belmont Park last week (prior had been a few years). Still a very fun place to spend some time. The all day pass would have been a good bargain if 2 of the main big rides weren't closed. I wish there were more 'big kid'/adult rides. But, mostly I am reviewing to say that I can't thank the staff enough. My daughter lost her wallet on the Big Dipper roller coaster, right before closing time and we had to fly back home the next day before the park opened. The security office put in a ticket and notified staff of the missing wallet, which was located and placed in the vault for us. Not only was the cash still in it but all of her important IDs were there.. I was sent a link, paid to have it mailed home and they sent it to us. I am so thankful for their honesty, good communication and excellent customer service.“

“I intended to eat qt Chipotle next door but they were unexpectedly closed so I came here. First time here and I ordered the fried catfish with corn and potato fries. I have to say, it was delicious. The catfish was perfectly fried and very tasty. The staff are great and I'll definitely come back.“

“Our group of 9 all enjoyed our visits to Single Fin while we were in town. They have a good selection of signature cocktails. Everyone in our group found something they enjoyed. We also enjoyed our food so much our first visit, we made it a point to go back a second time. Teddy was wonderful and provided great service, laughs, and advice of things to check out while we’re in town. I highly recommend a visit to anyone who enjoys delicious and flavorful food and a relaxed atmosphere!“

“Okay, the food was certainly very good for the price. I had Ahi, it is only offered medium to well done. There was no pink in the middle. Probably a safety issue. Mom had two fish, salmon and another. The salmon was a bit fishy tasting. I am picky! But, overall, the price was low, staff friendly, there was an ample quantity, with rice, and, if I remember correctly, a small salad.
It's an order at the counter, staff bring the food to your table experience. There is indoor and outdoor seating.“
